QUESTION TIME! Who should write Sunny Day Jack? (Patreon)

Alright so settle down kiddies Jambee has a question that affects the SDJ project.

The original game demo was written by me, with the sex scenes written by AphroDesia co-creator FeatherBetha.

But this is a question of direction further down.

Would you, the players, prefer I write the game script myself? NSFW scenes in conjunction with Feather. Or, would you prefer we hire an experienced visual novel writer to translate our story with our supervision and editorial input?

• If I write, we can save a lot of money and keep the creative integrity of a creator made game. It may be easier for my to get directly involved with character tone. Basically, you get the raw experience. However, I am not a professional writer. So where we save money and creative closeness, there is a chance it will take longer and be of lower quality.
• If we hire an experienced visual novel writer, I can focus on art assets and upping the quality of other aspects. You get the game quicker because that’s a huge part of getting this done. And a professional writer can create more fluid nsfw scenes and transitions to said scenes. I will oversee and edit everything, making sure it’s all organized and canon appropriate. However again this will cost money. We would also have them re-write the demo script to be even more tight.

I ask you all because it is a dilemma to be sure and I figured this might be a good time to exercise asking outwards for opinions. You’re our backers at the moment so…Yeah! Let us know what you think. We would love to see different perspectives on this issue!
