Hey there! JambeeBot again.

I don’t and won’t have access to a lot of my art equipment so I can’t stress this enough - Art tiers, please get all your references to me as soon as possible or opt out of art manually if you don’t want a piece!

This is a multi-series update!

In regards to AphroDesia - Due to some recording restrictions I can confirm that Episode three will see more delays. Unfortunately a crucial VA is not able to get us lines quick enough to make the first release of the month. We will be releasing as soon as it is finished in light of this.

After examining how difficult it is to produce content for a series relying on voice actors and editors, we’ve begun to look into alternative options for feeding AphroDesia fans. This may include comics, and it may include animation. But ultimately. The audio drama format is proving to take a long time to get anything done for, and we don’t plan to stop!

…But co-creators JambeeBot (the one writing this) and FeatherBetha are artists. Art we can do for free and still get AphroDesia done anyways. We’ve been humming and hawing quietly for a while now and have begun the process of examining alternative methods. Most likely, we’ve begun to consider comic-book style monthly releases. Something we can bind in paperback.

We have to be very picky what stories we tell on the dime of voice actors. But comics allow us to more easily explore side stories and allows us to tell mature adult stories in non-audible fashions! This is ideal for individuals sensitive to audible situations.

This is not expected to cost much more than the price of hiring a competent penciling artist, to help map out the pages. Likely, JambeeBot/Feather would handle coloring, inking, writing, etc.. and we would aim to release monthly issues ala the traditional comics method.

We are only looking however. So feel free to let us know! Would you like to see an AphroDesia comic transition to become the prime of AphroDesia, for more frequent releases and higher quantities of content? Or would you prefer AphroDesia remain an audio drama?

As for Sunny Day Jack, we’ve heard your feedback! We will be moving forward and likely hiring an editor to improve my work, with me writing predominantly. This should help with grammatical errors, but also improve the quality while maintaining my creative intentions! Thank you so much for all your input and advice. It’s really great to have access to so many perspectives!

Patreon jumbles access to data on tiers/users if users change tiers or whatnot, but it is the most reliable way to keep track of that. Missing art is not cool, and we are happy to compensate inconvenienced people with fully-rendered art!
