Hey everyone. We decided to hold off on a Best of the Worst for a little bit, but we did recently shoot a re:View for Total Recall. That's being edited now and should be coming soon. We're also planning a Half in the Bag soon that will be a little different than normal. We've talked enough about Bruce Willis' recent "movies" but have never actually seen any of them, so we're going to dive into a few of those 0% wonders and see what it's all about.

CSL

Why does it feel like we already had a Total Recall re:View? I understand the irony of that question.

Michael Nuccio

I'LL SEE YOU AT THE PARTY, BAUMANN

Happy about the Bruce Willis torture. Sad about no BOTW.

NuclearProstate

Is it hard to get everyone round for a BOTW session now because Mike's Alcoholism is so out of control?

Zachary Marsh

Safe travels to you all. Going down the Willis rabbit hole is sure to be a long and bumpy ride.

Anonymous

My Dad have a tradition that started a few years ago of watching those movies as part of our get-togethers, so I'm pretty excited to see you guys dunk on them. They're so ridiculous.

Sean Kirby

Can’t wait for the new videos! I got the Total Recall 4k Blu-ray and it looks great

Anonymous

Still got Total Recall on Laserdisc. LOVE that movie.

Steve

RIP BOTW Has Mike's dementia gotten so bad he can't do it anymore? Has Rich's disinterest gotten so bad he can't bother to pay attention anymore? We know Josh has had enough of this nonsense and was replaced by Tim.

Anonymous

You're excused 😉

Sweet a Half of the Worst spotlight of Bruce Willis

Anonymous

A Bruce Willis rabbit hole? Godspeed.

Conor

I hope there's a 0% Bruce movie where he plays the harmonica

Anonymous

The Bruce Willis thing sounds great! I hope one of the films is Cosmic Sin. I watched that with some friends last year and we were all truly baffled by it. Just genuinely incomprehensible and without any redeeming qualities.

Faterpillar

I'm fairly sure Bruce Willis fell into a coma a few years ago and they now dangle him on strings like a marionette.

Anonymous

I was just looking for Total Recall (husband has never seen it) and I can't find it on any streaming platforms anymore! I look forward to your video!

Peter Varga

Bruce Willis movies are probably almost a BotW episode

Anonymous

Midnight in the Switchgrass and Survive the Game use the same picture of bruce willis on their posters. just something i noticed.

Anonymous

The boys must have finally mined out all the "gold" to be found in their never ending collection of shite videos.

Anonymous

Total Recall was a family fave when I was a kid. I'm excited for this discussion!

Anonymous

Can you do John Cusack's Direct to Redbox oeuvre next?

Anonymous

make sure you guys watch cop out because after all this time i genuinely want to know more about that movie but not enough to actually watch it

Bill Wilson

Can't wait for the references to the deservedly forgotten "Total Recall" remake. I have seen a few of those Bruce Willis "movies", albeit, a couple years ago. I'm truly sorry for your lots.

Anonymous

lmao in the poster for Midnight in the Switchgrass they squeegeed out every wrinkle from his forehead, huh

Anonymous

Total Recall is my favorite action movie of all time. Stoked to hear y'alls opinion on it!

Lisa

My thoughts are with you in this, your hour of need.

YourFriendlyBartender

The TR video will be mega. I look forward to Rich imitating Arnold’s pain cries!

Anonymous

Wow stealing ralphthemoviemaker's Bruce Willis video ideas 🙄. When will this blatant #redletterplagiarism end?

Anonymous

Sounds awesome. Keep up the good work!

Rhea

I hope you guys are just taking a break from botws and that nobody's sick, and if they are that they get well soon. ❤️ Out of curiosity do you think you'll do any more commentaries?

Anonymous

Bruce Willis looks so fuckin' miserable... At least Nick Cage and Moose look like they're having a blast making shitty cash grabs.

DonMac

I wonder if they will mention the "Total Recall" remake with Colin Ferrell, if only to warn people to avoid it.

Manuel Johnen

No other actor comes to mind who pissed his entire career away quite like Bruce Willis did... makes you appreciate Nicolas Cage much more, doesn't it? At least that guy is still trying and game and he mostly delivers in even the worst shoestring budget horseshit garbage and he still has a "Mandy" or "Pig" in him from time to time... So, be less like Bruce Willis and more like Nic Cage, I guess...? :/

Manuel Johnen

There really is nothing to "Cop Out"... ... ... honestly, you've already seen two dozen movies that are exactly like it, it's every buddy cop comedy ever made, it just has lamer jokes than most and what little action there is sucks because it's directed by Kevin Smith.

Tim Fuglsang

"...hold off on a Best of the Worst for a little bit..." SACRILEGE! Wait, can a god blaspheme against itself? Woah...

Anonymous

Really hope we get Mike, Jay, and Rich on the re:View. Three boobs talking about three boobs. ( •_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)

Tim Fuglsang

It's so weird that a man who looks so defeated, like he has actually given up on life, can simultaneously muster the energy to do so in front of a camera, again and again.

Rocky Moerman

Sad for no BOTW, happy for the slaughter of bruce willis!

Anonymous

Can't wait for Total Recall. Been meaning to re-watch it so this has given me the incentive. That being said, would love a new commentary track. Feel like we're due.

Anonymous

Thank you for all your hard work.

Andre K

Bruce Willis' recent movies? Oh lord, I wouldn't wish those on my enemies.

Anonymous

Bitch is you for real?! I’m ready for all this, especially the Total Recall re:View. Be well and be safe guys.

Anonymous

Move over, Mike Rowe. The new kings of dirty jobs are here to take the throne.

Nathan Campbell

Will there be a ranking of the Bruce "movies?"

Anonymous

Too bad they are all streaming rather than physical media or the crew could end the night by deciding which one to destroy.

Anonymous

Can’t wait !

Alessio Roic

I learned English by watching Die Hard over and over and over along with Airplane!, Top Secret, The KentuckyFried Movie and The Blues Brothers. Willis was the coolest of the 80s action movie stars because he was so not raided out and because of his snarky attitude, To see him in all this crap hurts - at this point he has out-Caged Nick Cage, Cage does a lot of crap movies but you can still find a gem here and there (Pig, Mandy). Willis is in nothing but crap, maybe the only semi decent movie he was in recently was some comedy where he’s a washed out private eye in Venice beach. Forgot the title of it.

BoB3k

I dunno, man, I've tried out two of Bruce's new movies on Netflix, and I think I would advice against that. They're not just bad, they're just boring and bland. I think I made it no more than 15 mins into to either one.

David S

Don’t torture yourself with recent Bruce Willis movies! I feel like this Packers divisional round loss has put you in a dark mental state to go through something this painful.

Anonymous

This sounds spectacular. Really looking forward to that re:View. Hope the guys take a nice long break from BOTW….we all love it but you can see how making those episodes takes a toll!

Anonymous

What a trajectory for B. Willis. From wacky detective in a nighttime soap opera, to superstar action hero, to an apathetic actor lending nothing but his name to endless piles of trash Netflix movies.

Marvin Falz

I don't recall Total Recall in its totality (I'm deeply, deeply sorry for this pun), for it's been about 25 years that I've seen the movie. But I remember that it was fun, and the rule of thumb is if a movie is fun dubbed in German then it is fun in English. The same goes for TV series.

Anonymous

Ralph The Movie Maker did a great break down of the Bruce Willis Redbox collection if anyone wanted to pre game before RLM does it 🤣🤣🤣

Anonymous

Is the Total Recall re:View going to be done in… two weeks… two weeks… two weeks?

Anonymous

Bring back the Nerd Crew please!

Anonymous

Hell yeah! Hope you're all well 💗

Anonymous

Ohhhhhh baby!

schopi

Ah.... a Half in the Worst with some of Brucie Baby's recent movies! Yay!

David Dragoon

“Get Your Ass to Mars” Cannot wait for the Re:View, Rich Evans will be great as the Mutant rebel leader!

Anonymous

Finally a movie in re:View that I've actually seen and liked. I can't wait to disagree with their opinions!

Michael Parker

Sweet, I just rewatched Total Recall not too long ago myself.

Amanda Foster

I hope everyone is doing okay, looking forward to seeing the videos whenever they drop 👍🏼❤️

Anonymous

I'll be amazed if Mike doesn't bring up Star Trek due to Robert Picardo being in the movie.

Amy L Jones

Reading PDK as we speak!

Shempin Jack Flash

Total Recall has one of the best director commentary tracks with both Arnold and Verhoeven cracking wise in their thick Euro accents. Can’t wait!

Timothy Liebe

Pity we won't see any new BotW for a while, but I'm looking forward to Re:View and your eviscerations of Bruce Willis's Not Even Bothering to Try movies.

AllGoodNamesRGone

That's an interesting idea for a Half in the Bag. Seems like it's similar to the Blumhouse episode, but with Mike and Jay dissecting these films and what the hell Bruce Willis is doing.

DonMac

I recommend stockpiling a bunch of re:View episodes and keeping them banked until you need them, releasing one of them when you can't get a new video out on schedule. That alone would buy another week anytime a delay happens.

Anonymous

I know you guys won't do a half in the bag on it but Jay can you give us your thoughts on the new Scream on Twitter or something when you eventually see it?

Anonymous

Yay! I'm excited to go down the Bruce Willis rabbit hole. Thank you 😊❤️ Love you guys

Anonymous

Haha ' "movies" '. His oeuvre the last few years could support it's own best of the worst.

Anonymous

Everyone go on Netflix and watch Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo in REPRISAL. There's an entire sequence montage of them breaking down the case together and at no point are they actually providing any real information to the audience. It goes on forever and Bruce Willis keeps saying "break it down for me" and they're piecing together the "clues" based on the air they're breathing around them. I could not stop laughing. It's just line fragments.

Anonymous

I am a little bit too excited about the HitB video coming up. Willis used to act in some pretty interesting movies and now...not interested in seeing anything he is in.

Anonymous

Anyway we can et a list of the Bruce Willis movies you'll review to preview them?

Damon Killian

I like Rich, I hope he comes back. Personally, he's the tone and lightheartedness that brings me to RLM in the first place. After learning about Critical Drinkers connection with the alt-right and the Geeks and Gamers being racist trash, my whole attitude towards this genre has soured. I couldn't believe someone that could write about Star Trek in such an eloquent way, could be such a turd. I didn't realize the SJW stuff was a primer into darker thinking. To me it was just a collection of funny opinions about this character or that being a Mary Sue. Ultimately, it's my fault for subscribing to this trash, and joining in on the harangue. I know RLM isn't that way at all, and I still go back and LAMO at all of the old Half in the Bag episodes and Plinket reviews. It's funny, creative, unique, outrageous, sentimental, thoughtful, intelligent, and always highly entertaining. There is a lot of dark insidious shit out there disguising itself as commentary and parody. It's not. The Nerd Crew, Fuck You it's January, Mr. Scientist Man, Half in the Bag, BOTW, Star Trek reviews, are the things I have watched over and over again, for literally Years. I hope you make more, because the world needs RLM now more than ever.

Damon Killian

It's always quiet in here, this thread needed an incoherent rant. You're welcome.

Anonymous

I want know who gives us the updates. It definitely is Jay, sounds like him

Anonymous

Ah, the “I TRULY don’t give a fuck” era of Bruce Willis’ career. Nice.

Anonymous

I watched ‘Society’ for the first time a few weeks back at a friend’s house. He saw it on some crazy horror movie list and got it for us. I had no idea what it was or what it was about. After the film ended, I thought to myself “I bet Jay Bauman has seen this movie.” I looked it up and sure enough.

Jeremy Ross

Society was a "judge by the cover" watch for me back in the days when video stores were still a thing. I miss those days.
