I can't wait for you to finish this season. I love rewatching this show. This show might make you want to continue to the manga right after watching it though :)

I know a lot of people felt like Thors should have killed Askeladd on the boat, but honestly that was never an option. They had them surrounded on all sides with archers sitting up top. If he kills Askeladd then everyone dies. One thing I will say is they would have to show me how Thorfinn stowed away on the boat because I don't understand how everyone left without without making sure Thor's son was there. That's always been off to me.

Have you watched the opening yet? If not its pretty safe to so now. Some people could argue there's a touch more spoilers involved but honestly after the next episode I'd say it's pretty clear the path the shows taking. Looking forward to seeing your reaction to the opening.

I'm sure that Askeladd left with his crew before they found a way to get back. Considering they also took their boat. It had to happen in that time frame, Thorfinn sneaking away without Askeladd's men checking is way more likely than the reverse.

Just like to mention, Askellad was actually serious about Thor’s becoming their leader. He said he was joking only cause he saw Thors was going to decline. Thanks for the reaction sis x

Just a head up, Many people missed this one crucial point out. If Askeladd swore on Olaf,that means he is bluffing. But if he swore on Arthur, he is dead serious about it.
