Idk if I am misinterpreting Kageyama but it honestly seems like he is really trying to push his team mates to become greater and better. I know Miya may have made his comment about him but I definitely see the fire so bright in him, and also in Hinata as well. That spike he received was beyond AMAZING!! I am very curious to see how Nishinoya takes to Kageyama snapping at him though..lol

they do text, but students or teens in japan usually text back and forth using emails in place of phone #. idk what the difference is tho

I’ve also been struggling in understanding the meaning behind “goody two-shoes”, and after hearing your comments and rewatching I’ve concluded that the Miya guy was saying that he was too accommodating in his gameplay. I think it goes back to his fear of being overbearing and losing the support of his teammates again. Miya was likely teasing him about being too passive and not commanding the court as a setter likely should since the position leads the offense
