Well excuuuse me, princess!

(Last minute edit: these were actually curated in order but Patreon freaked out. Luckily I caught the problem before the post went up while I was at work.)

As promised, the second half of the ENORMOUS Legend of Zelda generated art dump, featuring Zelda herself. We've got some thicc Zelda, some normal Zelda, some Dark Souls Zelda before we move onto Monster Zelda (Zora, Goron, Moblin, Chu-Chu and a Goblin), chunk and fat Zelda, barmaid Zelda, school nerd Zelda and finally Zelda as a driver's ed. student. Iactaully tried to get some goth Zelda as well but they all came out just looking so unlike Zelda that I didn't include them.

Ramble time.

I'm actually old enough that I saw the Super Mario Bros. Super Show on TV, where they'd show either a Mario Bros. or a Legend of Zelda cartoon, lol. I actually have a VHS of it somewhere as well. Magic Johnson was a guest, then there's a Halloween episode with Dr. Frank N Stein and Luigi gets possessed by a demon. The cartoons are a cowboy themed Mario Bros. cartoon and a Legend of Zelda one that I think involved a giant hourglass? It's been so long that I just remember that Ganon was still envisioned as an evil pig-wizard and had yet to be the much more regal and imposing Gerudo known as Ganondorf.

Honestly it's a hard sell to get me to like the new and quickly becoming deafult Breath of the Wild design of Princess Zelda. Don't get me wrong, she looks great but for me, the iconic Zelda design will always be the pink and white dress version. Again this is mainly because of Ocarina of Time but I think it helps show more of her character in that yes, she's this regal royal individual but underneath she's more than ready to discard that and take a more physical role of protector of her kingdom. The twist that Zelda is Sheik in Ocarina of Time was great to me as a kid.

Anyway, like I said last time, I haven't really been onboard with Zelda since Wind Waker because I've largely stopped playing Nintendo games. That's all I really have to say for now. Maybe I'll try some Purah next? Who knows?
