**PREPARED HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

Guts and Casca are cornered by Adon's troops and it's a race against time to try and decide whether it's "fight or flight" and what each believes the other should do! Will they listen to each other? Will they make it out of this alive? And what are Griffith and the others doing?

I'm not sure if you know but the author of Berserk, Kentaro Miura died in 2021 aged 54. It was announced that the series would no longer continue and forever be unfinished. But last year it was announced that Miura's best friend and a mangaka himself, kouji mori, would finish the Berserk series for Miura. Kouji wrote an emotional letter to fans explaining that Kentaro had told him the entire story of Berserk from start to finish. I got teary eyed reading that letter lol. Kouji Mori also created a tiny "manga biography" about his friendship with Miura. I am still not caught up to the latest chapters of the manga. I am reading slowly because I don't want to get caught up and get stuck waiting for new chapters lol. Still, something pure is being lost" Griffith is an extreme example of this. But I feel like the narrator is making a good general statement about anyone with a dream. And of course, the narrator ends his preview with despair by saying there is no joy at the end. Imagine having the narrator as your therapist lol. I just really liked this line and wanted to share my thoughts :)

That's wrong. It was never announced that it would no longer continue. The Young Animal editorial department released various statements, usually also in English, saying that they can't confirm yet what would happen. (For example, in volume 41, Miura's last volume, "As for what will become of the manga from here, we apologize that as of now this is still yet to be decided"). Miura's other ongoing series Duranki was quickly announced to be over and unfinished, for Berserk it was always to the effect of "not finalized, we will announce it in the magazine once we know for sure". Some people presumed that it would probably not continue, but that was never more than unfounded speculation.

I am glad that Miura was able to let his best friend finish the series by telling him the rest of the story -- even if it's not "exactly" the same, getting that "closure" is surely good news! And that line about dreams....Isayama really was inspired by this series, wasn't he? I'll have to bring that up in a later reaction/discussion -- thank you for the kind words and comment!

Every week I've been watching it just makes me want reread the manga, but its soo long, its like the comic book game of thrones, i dont think it will ever be finished.....
