**UNIDENTIFIED FLYING HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

This episode definitely did not let the "Rule of 8" down, but MAN! WHAT a TRIPPY episode, am I right?! I love that Tome got to not only make some memories wit her friends but WHAT MEMORIES?! Insanity, y'all!

PLUS -- Inukawa?! WHAT?! The story and animation make a DRAMATIC turn, but what do we make of it? This episode definitely felt like the calm before the storm...**nervous laughter**

The truck

lmao, You talking about the animation as if they decided to do that for money-saving reasons, when in actuality that is movie-quality animation in this episode. xD After all the more fluid the animation is the more expensive it probably is. I haven't seen any articles about why they decided to give extra attention to this episode, but I guess it was something like: "I guess we have extra budget let's spend it on this alien episode." This ep,,, it was so trippyy and flowwyy and I have no idea about what the fuck happened at the end. About why Takenaka didn't "prove her" that he's a telepath, I think it's just because of his own decision in the last ep where he told us that he doesn't want to use his telepathic powers anymore. Even tho Tome x Takenaka is a pretty fire ship, But I think that since he hasn't met Tome since he left the club, so it would be pretty quick of him to suddenly feel attracted to her.

Hahaha, I mean, I talked in the discussion about how it could SEEM like it was a money-making decision, but that it was actually a decision for a reason; I'm not sure if you listened to the entire discussion, but I talked about in there at some point. : ) If I didn't I definitely meant to! The ending was exactly an example of that -- it was trippy and bizarre, but beautifully animated! There was a LOT going on at the end! And Takenaka knew the club for quite a while, the show established -- he joined the telepathy club but said "after a while" realized it wasn't what he thought, suggesting it could have been long enough to make a connection with Tome, emphasizing why he left her and could have that nervousness coming back. Thanks so much for the comment!

Reinhard's Burner

This episode was directed by Hakuyu Go (Season 2, Episode 5). He was given complete control over this episode. I think the animation is just his style, looser line work but smoother animation

I so wish the reactions for this had come a weak earlier because this would have been a perfect fit for an April's fools video. Anyway, unto the episode itself... Tome this arc or I guess through the whole series gave me Haruhi Suzumiya vibes, just a girl making a paranormal club to make memories looking for "time travelers, aliens & espers", yet she's surrounded by them and just doesn't see it. There's a point when they're starting to say good bye to the aliens and one of them points at Inukawa while another one gives the ok hand sign behind his back... so they didn't just forget to drop him off with the others, that stuff at the end was premeditated. I do like the Tome & Takenaka dynamic, it definitely could blossom into a cute relationship. It's funny how nearly all the show ships feel more natural than the 'main' Mob & Tsubomi ship.

Oohhhh, interesting! Thank you so much for the information -- that makes a lot of sense and the style is DEFINITELY noticeable! Thank you for the comment and that info!

If this had been on April Fool's it would have been HILARIOUS! It's amazing that Tome, who's sought this out from the start is finally experiencing this beautiful moment and she seems so nonchalant about it! It's INSANE that it was premeditated because poor Inukawa didn't know what to do! Poor guy! And oh my gosh, I would love Tome and Takenaka in a relationship! I think it has that potential! OMG -- Ugh, I can't even with Tsubomi, hahaha, but I feel that I talk enough about that right now. :) Thanks for the comment!
