I would say a headphone warning, but I'm still getting over my cold throughout this. Instead, *gasp warnings* as we get SO much in terms of connections with characters, ties to the past and parallels with the present, and STILL tons of mystery with these characters and how we're going to resolve this wager with Sakura Magic, that seems to be digging deeper and deeper...

I'm VERY excited for the rest of the series, especially after this episode!

Yessss, I loved the parallels in this episode! And yes, the twitch, the micro expressions; it's all so good! And yessss, learning Ed's dad is...definitely involved in major, bad crime is surprising -- more than I was expecting! I love the mystery of this series and like you said; you get the breadcrumbs and then they add on more questions! Definitely excited for next week! Thanks for the comment!

(me and the fam have also all gotten sick with sore throats and coughs too, its going around I guess) I'm so excited for all the reactions to this series!! honestly, it's one of my favorites so I'm happy to see you enjoying it so much too. I hope you're ready for this ride of twists and turns and "oh my gosh"s, and honestly some good laughs as well, and some of the feels too... haha LA does seem to take us back a bit to banana fish, along with Tom, and the cute father and son moments. flashbacks to Max and his kid huh. p.s. Laurent is so freakin sexy, honestly as the series went by I started simping more and more for him, you'll see what I mean hahah

Anime Annie

It's a great and interesting parallel of Edamura and his father, with Salazar and his son. The animation team are fantastic at the little expressions, just like Salazar's twitch at the mention of his wife and kid. No verbal explanation needed. He seems like such a great Dad, and Tom's a cute kid. I love the switch back to Edamura's past and you finally learn of the crime his father was arrested for. Trafficking minors is a much bigger crime than anything Edamura's done so far. The storytelling in this series is great. The little breadcrumbs dropped throughout the way and then picked up again to give you a little more context. Such a great way to pull you into the anime and be on the edge of your seat for what's coming next. All the while adding to your pile of questions.
