**CO-DEPENDENT HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

Enabling, dependence, relationships, crumbs of devil lore, and a psychological breakdown of our characters encompass this wild, trippy episode! Definitely development with Aki and Himeno in this one, as our crew tries to solve the mystery of being "trapped" on the 8th floor of this seedy hotel. And apparently the only way out...is for Denji to die?  

Will Denji die? Will our group escape unscathed? WILL POWER GET HER NOBEL PRIZE?! So many questions, and this episode feels like merely the set up...and we're just now halfway through the season. Hoo boy.

I think this anime needs to be renamed to "Is kobeni gonna be alright?"

In a strange way, in ep 1, Denji had the same occupational choice that Kobeni did. (Whore yourself out was a suggestion of the yakuza as a way to get the money he now owed), but lucky for him Pochita showed up, and gave him the option to be a devil hunter.

I got to say I really like the way the pacing is being adapted. The manga is known for being super bingable with good rereadability and they're capturing the essence of that really well. With the episodes feeling so short due to the chaos energy, but if you focus on the important story things like the overarching plot, world building, and character development they all happen at a well structured pace.

8 looks like infinity. That's why Eternal devil Loves 8 maybe. Power actually uses an old Japanese accent. It's funny that it's also expressed in English sub.

I agree, the pacing in this season is not too fast, but not slow either -- it does a great job of capturing the "atmosphere" in each scenario we've had so far -- it's been a fun pace and I'm excited to see how the rest of "act two" goes!
