Yes, the first half of this seemed like a recap, but I like to think it was an ode to L, and his courageous fight to try and apprehend Kira...or at least, that's how I'm coping. As is Light, perhaps, who's taken on the duties as "Second L" *grumbly cat noises* and has after six years joined the police force and allowed Kira to lead the world into a new dark age, seemingly... .

..but who are these precocious players at the end of the episode at the Wammy House? Watari...what secret organization have you created, and did Light make a mistake in killing L after all? Hmmm...THE PLOT THICKENS!
