I can INSTANTLY see how this episode would be controversial, but MAN, the parallels with Season 2 to this one, huh? Our 104th Crew would like to go get Eren without any further bloodshed, but "easier said than done" and even the best laid plans aren't foolproof. This episode managed to be surprising while also sticking with the characters and their motivations we've seen develop over the last four seasons. It's insanity leading up to the penultimate episode of the season!  

And Isayama would like us to know that if you want to be the "hero" and "save the world"....you better be prepared to get your hands "dirty."

Not the Burger King whispers that your $5 coupon is expired!! Omg I'm crying😂😂😂😂😂That's all I'm gonna think about now when Floch is talking nonsense to Jean omg😂😂😂Traitor!! Conny & Armin realizing this is basically what Reiner & Bertholdt did to them aaaaahhhh😭omg I was screaming so much. RIP Daz & Samuel. Y'all were real ones. Conny going into this wanting to save people, wanting to be a soldier his mom is proud of & then having to come to terms with killing your friends. Take me out delete this whole situation. I was not expecting this rude awakening & then you end it off with Conny screaming?! Armin shot 3 times including the face. I died inside & then I remembered he's a Titan but I still was dying inside. Yes he can regenerate but the trauma & the memory you'll have being shot in the face like...😗😭😭😭😭you can hear his breathing & it's like he wants to speak so bad to Daz but can't. Looking into Daz's eyes so coldly as if Armin is ready to die in that moment. I was speechless this episode. Floch...yea he was in the episode...anyway yes the gang having there Odm gear on. Reiner & Annie fighting side by side for the first time. Magath apologizing to the warriors & our scouts just wow. Also him torturing Yelena made my chest hurt like I was actually scared cuz it was so sudden & she couldn't talk or breathe. I'm like I don't like Yelena & I did want her dead before but my god not like that lol Yelena is a bit of a grower when she's separated from Zeke😂amazing episode loved it but I didn't ask for my heart to be destroyed with Conny, Armin, Daz & Samuel.😭

Also I've missed Bertholdt so much this season like I really wanted the gang to talk about him last episode since we haven't really seen Reiner's or Annie's feelings on Armin eating Bertholdt & is now the Colassal (Yes without him knowing but I still wanted more with Bert & there reactions on how hard it was to lose Bertholdt as there dearest friend who is now in Armin) I just miss Bertholdt & would've loved to see them talk about him since we mention so much of our fallen characters but yes I was screaming when I saw the flashback of him this episode. I really needed that. It was a perfect tie in to S2 with how Conny was screaming about how they betrayed them to now them being the ones to betray & kill there own friends. Throw the whole episode away at this point I hate it here😂😂😂Amazing beautiful story telling & I absolutely love what Isayama's doing here cuz I didn't expect this in the slightest & it comes full circle in the most shocking way but my goodness it's so heartbreaking.

I do greatly miss Bertholdt, especially since we don't see Reiner or Annie look over to Armin or thinking about him not being there. I definitely want a conversation between Reiner, Annie, and Armin at some point. I definitely miss his character, too! But yesssss, what a great tie in with Connie and Season 2 and seeing now the 104th Cadets are in the same boat as Annie and Reiner. Hahaha, "I hate it here" has been the feeling since the midway point of Season 4, right?! I do love the storytelling here and Isayama just making all sides be in the "same boat," right? Heartbreaking and fascinating!! Thank you so much for the comments!! :D

Hahahaha, The Burger King whispers about coupons expiring! YES! That's all I can associate with him, now! And yeah, I feel bad that I didn't remember Samuel and Daz, but it's a shame those that were here from the start are now gone. And that scream with Connie?! His VA went all out in that scene! Kudos to them! And yeah, I was surprised with Armin getting shot and relieved that he was a titan in that moment. And Armin NOT being able to do the one thing he's good at -- ugh. And looking at Daz? SPEECHLESS, indeed! All of the things in this episode, the "warped nostalgia," the apology from Magath, Yelena's broken arm (UGH), and and all the heartbreak -- WHAT an episode, RIGHT?!
