I haven't watched the whole reaction yet but I've been waiting for you to get to this episode😂, you've been so eager to see the green dragon since the beginning lmao. Edit: finished watching, your reaction was just as good as I was hoping 😂😂 JaeHa is a treasure, I knew you'd love him instantly! And yes, the idea of defying fate is finally brought up! As you said, JaeHa brings a whole new perspective to the dragon prophesy because really so far we've just had the word of the priest and then the first dragon Yona and crew meet is Kija who was pretty much indoctrined by his village since birth and then we had Sinha who didn't know anything and is just following cues from Kija and the others. JaeHa has the benefit of beeing both village raised with the legend but also escaping and living plenty of years in the outside world. He uses and appreciates the power but he's his own person separate from the legends. I love this whole arc, it's so great! Character growth EVERYWHERE plus a new dragon boy! Poor Hak, Yona's so oblivious to his feelings and she doesn't even get jealous seeing him with other women in a brothel😂

Green dragon is here!!!! Jae-ha is probably my fav... in tight competition with Soo-won. There isin't much for me to say about this without spoiling, BUT the fact that they sneakily made it clear that Yona herself has yet to have any feelings for Hak, by making it clear that yona ain't bothered with the thought of Hak meeting with women. Which I like. BECAUSE, no matter how much I ship them, Just a few weeks or smt ago Yona was in love with Soo-won. I know that giving up on a childhood crush that lasted way too long,,, it's hard to give it up. AND if had yona managed to fall in love with Hak ALREADY, it would have been "you saved me, and you're the only one I have left"-situation, which is not really a healthy base for a relationship. ( no matter how good intentions the people involved have) As well as all the stuff happening around them, of her father's death, searching the dragons, seeing all that's happening in the country. Not really the time to fall in love. I, personally, am quite pleased with the POSSIBILITY (idk, I'm not a manga reader, yet) that in the manga there might be long, long, looong slow burn of yona acquiring feelings and then spending extra 10 volumes of wondering how to confess. and yeah, Jae-ha is like... very hot, very much my type. And my despair of there being so little hak x jae-ha fanfics.

Everyone is just Hak-sexual at this point (can’t blame them, I, too, am Hak-sexual) 🤣🤣🤣 The Green Dragon, Jae-ha (the spelling in the anime is Jea-ha so it’s not that much different but the Jae-ha spelling is how it’s more pronounced) is just so much fun. He’s such a character, and his voice actor is Victor from Yuri on Ice! Before watching the anime and when I was only reading the manga, I actually did picture his voice actor as the green dragon. Then when the anime was announced and I saw he was going to be him playing Jae-ha, I thought it was such a perfect match!!! He has that sexiness and quirkiness in his voice acting which is just chefs kisses👌👌👌 Hak and Jae-ha’s dynamic is so good honestly. I love how they play off of each other so easily, and they have more of a friendship-like relationship amongst the dragons. I like that they introduce Hak and Jae-ha before Jae-ha reveals himself to be the green dragon for this reason. They’re more seeing each other on equal grounds unlike Kija, who Hak sees as a rival/annoyance, and Shin-ah, who Hak acts rather indifferently to/like on the same level as Yoon & Yona. So having the two meet before they meet the others, it gives Hak and Jae-ha a chance to see each other and connect as the humans outside their respective titles of Thunder Beast & Green Dragon. Ahhh, it’s just so fun when the two of them are together. And when Jae-ha meets our other two dragons—hooo boy, I can’t wait until you see how the relationship between the dragons develops, both in the next few episodes and also in the manga. So, yeah, next episode is going to be a blast because it’s more green dragon fun! I’m so excited for your reaction!

HE IS HERE!! Jae-ha is one of my absolute favorite characters. There is so much depth and emotion when it comes to him and his relationship with the group. I can’t wait to discuss him in more detail as we get further along into the series. He’s one of those characters that acts tough but is a BIG softly underneath. Like as we saw with the pirate crew, he’s touched when his crewmates tell him how important he is to them, but he doesn’t admit that out loud, instead acting like he doesn’t care. And there are reasons for that. There’s so much I can say about his reluctance to be vulnerable with others and how that coincides with his fear of not being free. For a future time, though! Aside from that, you were predicting the greatness that is Jae-ha and Hak’s relationship from that one image of them in the first OP from the beginning. And I can safely say that you were right on the money when you thought that their relationship would be great. I was dying listening to you point them out every time the ending rolled around. I would honestly ship them if it wasn’t for Yona (who I am kidding! I still ship them to a degree). But their friendship and relationship as a whole is just as good. They connect in a way that they’re not able to with the rest of the characters in the group. And it leads to a strong relationship that I think hits a little differently for most fans than their relationships with everyone else (although they’re all good!) In any case, I can’t wait to see your reactions to the next couple of episodes and continue to discuss Jae-ha. Thank you for the reaction. I hope you have a good week ^^

Our green boy is finally here! Jae-ha in all of his dramatic glory! We definitely hyped him up for a good reason and I'm glad I got to see your reaction to him haha I have such a soft spot for Jae-ha, he reminds me so much of Victor and it helps that he's voice by the same VA. He has a maturity that the others don't but he's also the most comedic, and him as a duo with Hak? Perfect! Of course he's Hak-sexual, who isn't? Besides that, I do like that they introduced a character who doesn't just seem "straight" and I think that's kinda rare in these kinds of anime, of course there's also Soo-won who doesn't seem interested in anyone besides Hak. And then we have the pirates with the most badass woman for a captain, Jae-ha found the best place to be but for a dragon that can practically fly he likes his freedom more than settling down so going with Yona would mean being tied down for him. I like that conflict and it's the complete opposite of Kija who was so ready to go with Yona because of his duty to protect her, I believe Jae-ha's backstory comes more later in the manga but you kinda get of glimpse of it in the anime. This will be a fun arc and then last will be my favorite boy, yellow dragon! Good reaction as always!

That is a really good point to bring up -- Yona has no clue how much Hak cares for her, possibly romantically, because he's done such a good job of hiding it -- and Yona had a crush on Soo-won for the longest time, so it makes sense she doesn't realize Hak likes her "that way." That's a good point to bring up in all this -- I'm DEFINITELY rooting for Hak and Yona, though! :) But yeah, now's "not the time" to fall in love, sadly. -_- I'm SO excited for how it could develop in the manga, though! We shall see, ehhhh? And Ohhh, Jae-ha checks off a lot of boxes for me, too! I'm very excited to have him in the story now, and not a lot of Hak x Jae-ha fanfics?! I'm SO happy we're here to meeting the Green dragon! :) SO excited!! You can already tell he and Hak are similar (softies with the hard exterior) -- and the ties to his freedom; I'm VERY excited to explore that with his character! And yesssss, Hak and Jae-ha -- the original artwork of them together was for a reason! The hype is REAL with these two, and seriously...I'm a Hak x Yona Endgame person, but I'll ship Hak with pretty much anyone; our thunder beast needs some love, haha! Dramatic glory, indeed! I'm so happy to finally get to him and YES! SO MUCH Victor vibes -- as soon as I was done with the episode, I HAD to check and see if he was the VA! And his duality with Hak is perfect! And yes, both Jae-ha and Soo-won to me are clearly not just "straight" characters and it's obvious, which I applaud the mangaka including. And I love Gigan already! I love the ties to freedom and piracy; fits perfect for this Green Dragon and I can't wait to see how his dynamic with Yona and the other dragons go! :) And yessss, then finally the yellow dragon! We love and respect our captain Gigan here!! I don't get how Hak doesn't see that Jae-ha is the green dragon. He's in this city, has green hair and suddenly dissapears. Come on Hak. It's not that hard to see. XD I have to admit for the longest time Jae-ha was one of my least favourite dragons. But after rereading the manga recently I can't understand what I was thinking. I love him a lot. I enjoy that everytime we meet another dragon their situation and the way they think about the power or their "fate" is different. It makes it even more exciting to meet them. The joy you feel when you recognize a voice and know a character they voiced or even know the name of the seiyuu. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Gigan is such a BOSS; I love her, already! And Hak....so focused on Yona, he can't focus on anything else. ;P And yesssss, realizing the Green Dragon has Victor's voice was such a fangirl moment for me!
