Paterson, you may be one of my favorites in the show; you certainly have a spiffy drink named after you!   

I loved this episode -- from seeing Bonde and Paterson...well, BOND, to seeing poor Sherlock sorting through his own moral dilemma with the Moriarty Crew, to Albert and Mycroft's flirting, to Lestrade's straight-up white knife self getting decked -- there was a lot to enjoy with this episode!

About Bonde and the guards. Herder, when giving Bonde the gun, says that they have special sleep bullets that, when fired against a hard surface, will release a sleeping gas. So basically, he shot the wall next to guards and put them to sleep long enough for him to pick the locks to the gated door and the records door, and relock both. Bonde has not "lopped the top off", as is seen in later parts of the manga, so I'm assuming that the Moriartys are funding some real good binding. We did see that Irene was able to get pretty flat before as that king, so I assume there's just more resourses avaliable to them now. I also refuse to believe Bonde doesn't have days off from binding, for health reasons. That's all I really have to say, other than the next episode is probably the last "chill" episode. And even then, it's not that chill...

Zach Paterson's va is Tokuyoshi Kawashima. The only role you might recognize him from is Boku no Hero Academia. He's a lot of older anime as a supporting character.

SERIOUSLY, I feel for Bonde if they have to bind like that -- ouch. Nope. And ahhhh, I missed the part where Herder talked about the sleep bullets; that makes MUCH more sense! Good eye and ear, there! I was probably too busy fangirling, haha! Oh, and next week is the last "chill" episode? *nervous laugh* Oh. Oh, okay. @_@ Good to know.
