If I had a dollar for every time I said, "Oh my God," in this episode...well...I'd be able to buy a LOT of Emperor's Smile to pass around for everyone.

I was expecting the Lotus Pier burning to be tragic...but...y'all...I wasn't ready for the acting between our three "siblings," the subtle (but more PAINFUL) plot twists The Untamed does, and just...the heartache is real, y'all. What a set of episodes! T_T

I wasn't joking at all when I said the Untamed is down on a track straight into anguish. These two episodes are just PAINFUL... I laughed really hard when you said you got enough money for saying "Oh my God," The Untamed really took the anguish in MDZS to another level. Thank you for your reaction and happy holidays!

Oh God I just remembered JC calls WWX "A-Xian" in the first few minutes of the episode. They have probably been closer than ever after that "Twin Heroes" talk. I'm okay, I'm not crying... Also, all the little changes that show Jiang couple actually really cares for each other in the Untamed version. The migraine healing concoction, them holding hands in death, I can't. JC brushing away Wuxian's defense strategies, ugh. So reckless and unthoughtful. I personally like Wen Ruohan from donghua a little more, a powerful conqueror just fits a bit better into the story than a madman consumed by helpless quest for power. But the other version is fine, too! He won't be that easy to topple, boys! And yes, we definitely didn't deserve witnesssing neither Cloud Recesses attacked in detail, nor Lotus Pier people massacred. Welp, I hope Wen Chao's final fate satisfies you in the later episodes! Donghua version was very different even if no less violent, but novel version is still the best for me. Wen Zhuliu totally smelled something in the wine but chose to drink anyway. Good for him. Not forgiven though. Also, Romania going: That's the saddest thing ever! We, rewatching for Nth time: Oh honey. Just you wait.

The straight up PAIN of these episodes was...a LOT. Seriously. I didn't realize how much I said "Oh my God" until I went back to edit, haha! I was just in shock! Yeah, the acting was so good in these episodes...I really felt bad for everyone, here! On a happier note, thank you so much for the kind words! I hope that you have a great holiday as well!

I must have missed that because now the pain is amplified, hahaha! The changes to show that Yu really did love Fengmian and seeing all of the children grieving...man...it's just painsville here in The Untamed right now! Oooh, I do like Ruohan in the donghua, too -- they're different characters in both versions, so it's hard to pick for me, so far! I'm honestly really excited to get into this part of the novel -- even though it will be the THIRD time witnessing this travesty fresh -- the Untamed and the donghua have handled these scenes great but in different ways; I'll be curious to see the "Original" Source's handling! And...*reads your last comment* Oh. Oh ha. Ha ha ha....**sweats**

This is weird to say but I think everyone feels the same.. Xiao Zhan is so good at crying He can really show all the despair and stress wwx is going through here. He always gets it perfect.

Zhan has been KILLING IT these last several episodes -- these two he's just so perfectly expressive for his character in the moment!

I can watch these episodes as much as I want it will make me cry every time. All the actors did an awesome job but the acting of the Yunmeng siblings was just incredibly heartbreaking. The handholding between Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian made this even sadder. What I like about wen chao in this version is that there are moments where you can see that he still is just a kid/young adult. He cares about his father and probably wants to be recognized by him. That gives more depth to his character. You can really see here how Yanli holds Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian together. Wish you a wonderful day!!

The acting is SO HEARTBREAKING! It just slays me in these episodes -- and yes! Chao in this version is so despicable, but also somehow comes across as vulnerable -- you can easily see his humanity and longing for his father's approval, but also how the decisions he makes are just plain wrong; it definitely makes for a more in-depth character! And ugh...yeah, Yanli is clearly (especially at this point) the lynch pin holding the siblings together! Have a wonderful day, too! :)
