Loved the reaction & discussion! This is an excellent episode, definitely one of my favourites so far! Hinoe is immediately amazing 💙 – she was the first character I noticed in the OP and was really looking forward to meeting. Her being referred to as “Adam’s yokai double” was hilarious – especially since there is some level of pomp to her mannerisms that’s really similar (the way Hinoe kept making asides about Natsume in that dramatic + snarky way). 😂 Tiny!Madara is the cutest, as well! And I’m glad we got more Madara/Misuzu interactions. I also agree regarding that shadow-silhouette yokai being one of the worst so far – there is something so threatening about it in the first half, even though it has no features and doesn’t “do” anything. Just standing there is enough, No Thank You. I only now connected the frog to Misuzu with this re-watch when you pointed it out! 😂 That is actually really masterful misdirection by the show, we get redirected to Natsume’s kindness. 🥰 Looking forward to next week! 💙

I have really looked forward to meeting Hinoe! She's so pretty and yes, she does relate a little to Hinoe -- except messing with Madara the cat instead of Tadashi the snake--err dog! :P Madara is so cute no matter how he's drawn and yes, the Misuzu interactions were great! And yes, the shadow silhouette just THERE, standing and not making a move? Very unsettling! I love that despite the tricks that Misuzu pulled, it still goes back to how Natsume was kind despite it all -- I strive to learn from Natsume! :3 Thank you for the comment and kind words!
