A Completely Different Power System for MHA! (Patreon)

My Brain did the thing again! Another Premise cropped up!

This time, the Premise is about changing the Power System of the MHA World! Replacing Quirks with something else. The one my brain stuck on was Jutsu from Naruto! Specifically Ninjutsu, with Chakra Control Techniques, like Wall Walking and Water Walking, also available.

With literally every human suddenly in possession of chakra, the World would fall into chaos. Though to be fair, this would be after several years wherein people would learn how to use it and develop techniques for it. Of course, we as Humans, quickly weaponize such an ability. The man known as AFO would lead the first uprising against the restrictions and regulations of this new superhuman ability. Just like he did in MHA Canon. Even though, just like Canon, he wanted a World that HE ruled over, standing atop all others.

Later, after some semblance of order was regained, a man known as Destro would push that Balance off for good, re-igniting the fires of 'Freedom' and 'Revolution'. The Old System collapses and a new 'Normal' rises from the ashes and chaos.

This MHA World is much different than it used to be. Cities that survive do so because they’re more akin to City-States of old, being almost entirely self-sufficient. Those who can’t afford to live in the ‘safe’ highly protected cities live in nearby towns and villages.

In the towns and villages, most people still lead normal-ish lives. They work, farm/garden, cook, clean, and find ways to entertain themselves. The occasional ‘Protector’ will come through (What would have been called a Hero, in the original Canon.) to help keep the peace. But outside of these patrols or visits, the villages and towns are left mostly to themselves. This means that those who used their Jutsu for 'less than noble' purposes have free rein. Most people don’t have any hostile intentions for their chakra and what Jutsu they know. But some do, and to keep themselves, or in some cases their families, fed; they turn to Theft, Extortion, Burglary, and other forms of crime.

In the midst of this, some people ply one of the oldest trades in Human History, the hired killer, the Hitman or Assassin. Knowing powerful Justu can get you very far in this new world. Being well-trained or having practical experience, even more so. With rival Yakuza trying to control the territories outside of the Cities, there are often incidents of violence. Many times the common civilians get caught up in it. The villages and towns are never completely safe.

The only way out of the less safe towns and villages is for a member of your immediate family to be strong enough and skilled enough to become a ‘Protector’. Then you can make it into the city. You can live in the well-guarded walls and enjoy a life very close to what existed before the rise of AFO or Destro’s Ideologies. But that’s only if you live long enough to get noticed, or become old enough to take the exams that happen every year.

Enter Midoriya Izuku. A boy that’s lived his whole life in a village outside of the Tokyo City-State. All he wants is to help his family move into the City. But will he even live long enough to reach the age required to take the ‘Protector Exams’?

So that's the basic Premise. Interesting? Boring?

What I'd like you to vote on is if you like the idea, and if so, what kind of Nature Affinity should our boy Izuku have? Katon? Doton? Suiton? Raiton? Fuuton?

Bakugo is, of course, getting Bakuton. He's his normal arrogant self because he has a Bloodline.

I think Aoyama would be perfect for Ranton. What with the lasers and all.
