I’m pretty sure the bois will be the first to notice Yamada Mom in her stockings and underwear inside Yamada’s room, I’m surprised that Adorkable noticed her first 😆 The Milk Tea bottle is the same one Ichikawa bought for her to cheer her up during the school trip when they were late to catch up the train. That’s why she doesn’t want him to see it. It’s cute that they both had the same reason and reactions for the other not to see what they were hiding. But in this case Yamada was actually going to do more if her mother wasn’t home. You can see that she’s leaning in to Ichikawa when she’s “on top.” And speaking about “on top”, the psychological tests of sex position that Ichikawa got of Yamada that she likes to be on top is proven in this episode at 2 separate scenes 😏

When Ichikawa says that line, "we are a little alike" this episode it really hits.

The funniest part about the milk tea thing is it would take a huge leap for ichikawa to arrive at the conclusion that its the same milk tea that he gave her back at the train station, Its been weeks, hell months at this point. He, just like most normal people, would just assume she just hasn't cleaned her room that day and that its milk tea from that day or the day before. I guess it worked out for Yamada in the long run though as she got an excuse to attack ichikawa in that moment. If Yama-Mama wasn't home my boi ichikawa might not have been safe for much longer.

the milk tea bottle is the one ichikawa gave her when they were separated from the group in the station and that was the first time she break in front of ichikawa so she kept that bottle.

this episode broke me, they keep getting deeper into my own insecurities and being in a relationship and growing together especially at such a turbulent stage of adolescence....put me right back into hs and my first big relationship.

At 12:33 Director mentioned that the mom is gonna use the same bath water that Ichikawa did but that's actually pretty normal. The water they get into after showering outside the tub is pretty hot and the style of tub keeps it that way that a whole family can use it and not waste water refilling. 🤓 It's also normal to let someone take a shower/bath at your house. It's actually considered polite to be given the choice of one during a stay over or after bad weather. 🥶

Yamada's prolly too young to have thought this deeply, but being "tall and good-looking" is also a double-edged sword. When one is surrounded by great people alongside expectations (from others and themselves) they are unable to meet while being attractive also leads to a form of insecurity. Although I don't think Yamada necessarily has low-self esteem, but rather has quite a fear of rejection. I wish we could hear her monologues though, I still have questions about her thought process lmao.

the milk tea is one of the reasons why Yamada fell in love with our MC. yamada is the type of girl who loves a guy that is very attentive to small details. if u guys cant remember, last season, Yamada wanted to go to the convinience store to buy milk tea but chii said no because they had to go [this scene was only about 4 secs so its forgetable. ] Fast forward to the next episode, Yamada and MC is left by the train because they were late and Yamada cries. MC gives Yamada milk tea to cheer her up. theres a lot more reasons throughout the very half of the first season but this is one of it

the thing that makes me laugh about this show is that shes only 5 "7 and they draw her like shes 6 "2 . same with komi. they're the same hieght. that makes this kid like 4 feet tall or something. shes MORE than a foot taller. its wierd because the average height of men and japan is 5 "7 and girls is 5 "2.
