I love this period show and really recommend the last kingdom on Netflix. Obviously not now because y’all have a lot on your plate but maybe after peaky blinders or when your schedule slows down.

I love the character writing in this for being so realistic. Einar having that kind of shock response when his family got attacked vs. getting viscerally angry at having his lunch stolen is such a human thing. Most of us aren't good at dealing with big shocking events, but we hold it in and it comes out with the small things like that.

Pretty sure that girl was crying because she failed to get her family with his family through the pregnancy. She still called him "sir" when talking to him. Couldn't even refer to him by his own name. So I don't think she was anything special at all Lee.

Can I get non spoiler feedback on the show? I’m hesitant to watch cause some of my other favorite rectors(RTTV) don’t seem to enjoy it

this season seems to be getting off to a slower start. but seems to be building characters. the first season starts off a lil the same but has amazing action and story. (RTTV) tend to get lost with minute details and zone out if theres no action.

Just to talk about thorfinn mentally rn. He has no motivation or goal. He spent his entire purpose since he was a kid to get revenge then got robbed of his revenge (and the guy to get revenge on wasnt as evil as he thought). So he has no goal or energy because he has no purpose. This is the lowest hes been he just been living.

It's so heartbreaking to see Thorfinn like that man. He just looks so empty now but I guess that sets up for alot of character development which we didn't see too much in the last season.
