I definitely know how he feels I've been there as well totally sucks and as far as Tadano sister sending him outside to get ice cream right before that there's a scene of a shadow walking past the kitchen window I believe that his sister saw it and realized it was Komi and that's why she sent him out

Great reaction. I don't mind the painfulness of it because it just proves the show is doing its work. Felt bad for Tadano and I'm sure most of us have been in his shoes before. Another thing is that I just whenever the slow girl gets screentime. She just makes everything so wholesome

The three stooges were imagining their scenes, but Katai ACTUALLY got chocolates from the girl at 28:52. At 31:18, you see that Tadano's mom calls him "Hito-chan", because obviously she won't call her son by the family name Tadano. But by using "-chan" at his age make him feel more like a cute little kid. At 31:52, the camera VERY BRIEFLY shows a shadow OUTSIDE the window, the sister noticed that someone is outside, so she's trying to get her brother to the door before Komi decides to give up and leave or something.

I'll be honest I was disappointed by Komi in this episode, the poor Tadano all day saw Komi giving chocolate to all her friends and he didn't get anything. Imagine how bad Tadano felt when he saw Komi give chocolate to all her friends and he got nothing. What does Tadano understand from this? Tadano thought that Komi did not consider him a friend since Komi gave chocolate to all her friends but he did not receive anything from her. 🍫🍬

All the names are a pun on their behaviour, traits, personalites etc... Like Naruse Shisto =Narcissists Najimi Osana =Osananajimi, which literally means "Childhood Friend" Nokonko Inaka = Noko can refer to Child and Agriculture and Inaka means country side/in the sticks. This is consistent through all the characters!
