Anime community's like that unfortunately, you'd be surprised by the amount of people who actually believe Denji's a better/more complex character than Ichigo for example. Ecchi shit and fanservice are some of the reason why quite a lot of the good ones are looked over, it took Higurashi years to gain enough traction to release more anime/stuff for example.

I would say it does but it's also a bit older and darker so I could see how some people wouldn't like it. I've watched both sub and dub and I'd say the dub is a far better experience so definitely go for that. I'm not gonna say it's the best anime ever but it's definitely worth a watch

Nah, S2 had its issues but s3 and S4 p1 have been adapted really well. The reason shows like Dan Machi will get shit is because how much world building is in the actual LN. And the anime doesn't 100% of the time do it justice, but it does well enough for the most part and if you arent gonna read the LN the show is still REALLY good even if i would say i prefer the LN.

All really sweet picks, not gonna be upset no matter what get's chosen. Eminence in Shadow seems like a shitty isekai on the surface but it's full of satyrical comedy. Mafoka Magica I've heard good things about but have never gotten around to watching it, so I'll at least give it a try. Danmachi is really good, despite being a harem anime which I tend to dislike, the action really turns up. Black Lagoon, one of the first anime I watched, a bloody classic, no complaints there. Uncle from another world, just really fucking funny.

Maybe unpopular opinion, but I would love to see a show they love that they wanna rewatch again. For example, I know they’ve seen Death Note, but would love to see their reactions to it as a re-watch reaction. Could make for an interesting dynamic and could open up to a lot of popular show options in the future too. Cause at least for me, I know I mainly use this channel to simply rewatch anime I haven’t seen in awhile and even though it’d be a show that they’ve seen before, I’d still totally rewatch something like Death Note again with them cause 1) Death Note is an awesome show, and 2) their reactions are amazing. I feel like season 1 is such a hard sell. I literally dropped it, read the manga, then saw the trailer for season 2 and jumped back. The show is also owned by Toei AND Shueisha so the reactions might not even stay up.

It also didn’t end in the manga so that’s like saying Berserk or HxH had a bad “ending.” The creator just goes on hiatus so much they couldn’t keep making seasons after Roberta’s Blood Trail. And really that arc had a solid ending anyway imo.

If black lagoon goes dub i probably wont have much to watch for the next few weeks. I wish there was a way we could mute the anime in the react so I can just watch it in subs on my 2nd monitor and then watch your reacts in another. There are a couple of animes id like to watch in your inventory (like cowboy bebop and great pretender) but I can't because I cannot stand dub for anime. Of all the scheduled shows that is on right now I only watch Magi and Spy x Family. Chainsaw man and Mob Psycho i don't feel it right now but I might binge when it ends. I am excited for Black adam though.

No the reason people want it dubbed is because the characters are supposed to be speaking English and some of them have accents. Not to mention some scenes they're speaking different languages and the dub portrays that.

I would personally like you guys to watch Danmachi just because it's light hearted enough for me. I dunno what's happened to my taste in anime tbh I used to like the dark and gritty stuff, but now I gravitate more towards the rom/com, SoL and Light hearted gemres more. But black lagoon is also a good choice I just hope danmachi also happens some time soon lol
