Just a little thing, but I loved how up till now, Tengen's honestly been pretty restrained. For the guy complaining that things aren't flashy enough, he's been pretty subtle, and once he's confirmed all three of his wives are safe and sound? He starts showing the fuck off. I feel like sun breathing will be teached like fire bending in avatar. He's using too much force and instead needs to flow with his breath like master iroh always says. It even makes sense with the flashback of his father and how he was doing sun breathing by just going with the flow. Haven't read the mange so this is all just speculation.

Haven't read the manga so just speculating.. But could the reason behind Tanjiro's father being so frail be that sun breathing is just taxing af combined with performing the best with high body temperature (essentially forcing a fever on the body every time they need to sauce up) over many years might just ruin the body? (Manga readers please don't spoil <3 <3 <3)

Eh, they really don't look "just like" them. Maybe a few similarities here and there, but they don't bear THAT much resemblance to them. Looking "just like" them would be one would have black and blue hair, one would have completely yellow hair, and one would have dark red hair.

Even if he continues to use water breathing it's not enough to finish off the higher ranked demons so either he needs to fully commit himself to sun breathing or use sun breathing as a finishing move while using water breathing.

I've not read the manga but I was thinking back to when they explained black swords being the colour for Demon Slayers who don't specialise in a specific breathing technique and don't tend to go far in ranking.... My guess the reason why Tanjiro's is black colour is because the technique he trained in (water) opposed his natural talent of Sun Breathing? So does that mean if Tanjiro improves on his Flame/Sun Breathing technique will his sword change colour to an orange/red (sun) colour?

They never really explain this that well, but Tanjirou does not have a blue sword thats why he can't perfect water breathing like giyu and is also why he is capable of learning and using multiple styles such as water breathing and hinokami kagura.
