Demon Slayer was like yeah we're not abiding by 2021 acceptable social norms. Everyone face after googling how old Aoi is 😬😐😶 The fact they didn't translate "hentai" to pervert was hilarious. I have to remind myself to look away when the transitions begin and end. I definitely felt semi spoiled on a certain scene. I loved the opening scene depicting Akaza getting sonned by Muzan as well as the heart to heart Tanjiro experienced with Rengoku's younger brother. Hands down what oddly sold the episode for me was Tanjiro's garb. Seeing him don the mino in the mountain shrine demon scene satisfying in a way. I loved the premiere. All we ended up getting was a heart broken abusive drunk who kept showing Tanjiro his thigh 🤔 Anyway the show did a great job depicting the effects of grief among different characters. The power scaling of this show is just off the charts, here we are introduced to Rengoku owning a former lower moon then being owned by Akaza a Upper Moon 3 who in turn gets owned by Muzan. CRAZYYY Also, you can just see the stark contrast between the two leaders of both factions. When the leader of the Demon Corps heard of Rengoku's feat even when he lost his life with it, he was very proud of Rengoku's feat even if losing a Hashira was a very big blow to their forces. Meanwhile, Muzan even if one Hashira was defeated he was just so disappointed at Akaza since it is already a given for a demon to best a human.

No, Muzan wants him dead because he saw those Hanafuda earrings on Tanjiro. We even see Muzan flashback where there was a demon slayer hovering over him and that slayer had those Hanafuda earrings. So now with this episode, that slayer clearly was a sun technique user and those hanafuda earrings is some kind of symbol for it. As even Rengoku's dad reacted to them.

I know demon slayer often has lazy writing and isn't the most "intelligent" piece of media but you can't call it mediocre slayer, the character design, the world, music and animation is all way too good. The anime adaption is so clean and SSS-Tier that this show is automatically above mid. I'd still give it a 8/10 or 9/10 at most tough because the writing really isn't the best but man atleast aknowledge this orgasm of all senses ufotable gives us here, just respect this studio atleast.

If you listen to Tanjiro's monologue closely you can get it. That fighting demons is always unfair and still, people with kind hearts and determination prevail to protect humanity's peace.

I’m not sure whether you’re frustrated or being passive aggressive about the arc BUT the reason why the made a recap because technically It’s part of the season 2 AND they included all the scenes from the manga that didn’t make it into the movie because ALL THE DETAILS or chapters that covers the Mugen Ressha arc CAN’T be force to fit into a 2 hours of a movie. I’m actually glad that they made an effort to put out everything from the manga to stay loyal to the plot(Atleast they tried to) and the IMPORTANCE OF EVERY NOOK OF DETAILS TO THE STORY. And lastly, Muzan literally started all the demons, BESIDES THIS IS MUZAN, he is literally the villain, the antagonist, you gotta think like him to understand his side, He is right though, Akaza is an upper moon three, UPPER THREE, he got bested by Daki a upper moon six who killed 7 hashira, Akaza did let his desire played out rather than killing all 4 demon slayers (Rengoku, tanjiro, inosuke and zenitsu) and to be fair the trio are only Kanoe soooo I do understand Muzan. Also when muzan is talking to akaza his delusion of being a god as a demon over human is what’s playing through his speech and he have his other agenda that is going to be addressed as the season progressed, I don’t want to spoil anything just be patient bro, all the answers will be answered, chill.

2022-03-13 23:12:18 Just to Clarify to all Y'all the person that's shown when they're talking about Sun Breathing and in Muzan's memories isn't Tanjiro's father, but the strongest Demon Slayer and Swordsman in the entire series. I won't say his name but he was a close friend of Tanjiro's ancestor and the Hanafuda Earrings originally belonged to him before he gave them away. This Mysterious Swordsman was the one who founded Sun Breathing and taught all demon slayers sun Breathing and other breathing techniques and was the only person who came the closest to killing muzan before the demon progenitor ran away for his life.

I get manga readers get frustrated that they call him Tanjiro's dad but in no way in the anime does it ever say who he is until later so people's conclusion that he's Tanjiro's dad is perfectly reasonable, I'm a manga reader too but I'm getting real annoyed at people spoiling this for others. It'll reveal who he is eventually, grow some patience. There's no way half the manga readers thought he wasn't Tanjiro's dad or relative when he first showed up in the manga too so let anime watchers think what they want, they'll be told otherwise eventually.
