I honestly would recomend to watch it on your own first. You'll have a great time,then watch the reactions, the series is still great on a rewatch, you'll notice things you didn't before and you'll get roshi and sheera's input which makes it even more enjoyable than the first watch.

ishigami only gets better as the series goes on. he's legitimately my favorite character. which is saying something because I like literally everyone in this show.

That's the thing about the show. It's hella relatable, everything is the stupid games we played back in like 8th or 9th grade when nobody knew any better. It's only after you've dated a bunch that you look back and realize how dumb you were acting...but on the flipside it'll also never be as sweet or innocent as it was back then.
