Fellow Jamaican here. That sorrel got me! My grandma makes the best! Lol I figured the red blood color could only come from that plant! All he needed was some ginger, cinnamon, lime and some orange rind and he would've been hydrated

Senku was saying that Chrome actually made Bleach (sodium hypochlorite), and not NaOH (sodium hydroxide), but it worked just the same.

the reason they took him away from his cell to go was because they obviously don't have any plumbing and i doubt they want to clean it up all the time. if he shits and pisses around the base it'll build up bacteria and people will get sick. any kind of sickness in a primitive world is a death sentence.
