i love how deep they went with iroh explaining the 4 elements and each nation having their own cultures. It explains why the fire nation invaded as they are filled with passion and ambition. Why the earth benders are always resisting and persevering even through harsh times. The water benders adapted to the situation better than the others. The air nomads, unfortunately were detached from the world and tried to avoid the war altogether, but it was inevitable in the end. The world building is crazy, something you dont exactly expect out of a show that was made for a young audience.

Zuko is by far my favorite character in Avatar. His character development is phenomenal 👌 Zuko's story to a 8 year old back in 2005 was so heartwrenching and good. Appreciate Zuko and his moody times. He's still an angsty teenager in Avatar.

A few things: there's more that makes a character good than their fighting abilities. Katara has more experience training Aang than Toph does, is older and more mature, and was ultimately right about the best way to get results. This was Aangs first day earth bending, so expecting him to get it right away is naive.

Have you guys watched dragonball z abridged???? If you haven't I highly suggest you make a little mini reaction series out of it. Other than the movies that they abridged most of the episode are 10 minutes or less. It is hilarious if you know and have a connection to the dragonball z series. I would love to see you guys laughing your asses off if you haven't seen them yet.

If you go back to the last episode when they all were ganging up on azula, the frame went into iroh’s perspective and he was realizing that toph was with the avatar, azula realized that he was distracted and shot him.
