The Frozen Bond is a movie explaining the backstory of Emilia and Puck, it's definitely important to watch it before season 2. I converted to team Emilia from Rem after haha

Watch the Frozen Bond, and then watch the last 5 min director's cut of the last episode of Re zero, major scene that lead up to season 2.

Frozen Bond is an OVA that just recently got fansubbed. It is Emilia's backstory and is essential watching for re zero. It's also fantastic. And if it doesn't make you team Emilia, nothing will.\

There are actually two OVAs. Memory Snow, and The Frozen Bond. You will probably want to react to them both. A few reactors have also watched the new post-credit scene added to the last episode of the Re: Zero Season 1 Director's Cut.
