2021-08-02 01:24:13 As far as I see it, Gentle did the same as Midoriya & friends in their fight vs Stain: use his quirt without supervision...just in their case, it worked out & they got off easy. Also, Midoriya kept chasing his dream even without a quirk, without thinking if he could realisticly get there and didn't give up...just like Gentle. I feel like, after society rejected him again & again, he in turn rejected society's way to a career for people with quirks & became a villain instead; not because he wanted to hurt people or wreak havoc...it's more of a tragic story to me really.

That is true. The only reason it was okay for them was because it worked out. But what if it hadn’t? They showed us what the scenario would look like with gentle. Good point!

2023-05-20 12:05:02 I really like it when characters show you a "what if..."-scenario for the hero; if circumstances had been different & he had received the same support as Midoriya, Gentle might very well have been one of the most dedicated heros...

It's a shame life twisted him with failure and despair. Gentle would've been a great hero in another reality.

Gentle is a villian becouse comment crime (minor crimes) but still crimes and use the lá brava quirk to scape, and it why is so hard to Deku fight them, the are the first "good" villians (the don't robber or kill or hurt innocent people) who he has to fight, and he has to crush their dream to save the, UA students and Ari, dreams.
