Drawing 50 Hands! (Patreon)
Content
I wanted to keep posting my new videos here at the same time as before, but I had forgotten this weekend :/
Unfortunately, this video did quite badly on my channel so I think it would have been better to save it for a Patreon exclusive, where I talk more in depth about the process of drawing the hands the whole time.
This is the dilemma many educational artists face sharing content online unfortunately (I'm going to vent a bit here lol)
I have recently polled my youtube audience about how they perceive educational content and many people find there isn't enough in-depth content for specific topics. Many times its the same type of information over and over. HOWEVER, this type of content does not perform well when shared for free online because...its simply not exciting enough. So it doesn't support the people who spend so much time creating the content because the algorithm cares about how many people are interested in your content, and how passionate they are about it. This is why you will find most advanced education behind 'paywalls' of some sort because the few people who value it, can directly support those sharing their knowledge, and they can keep doing it.
I see myself as in an adjustment phase right now trying to find out what type of content people enjoy most so this was a learning experience for sure. Please feel free to leave any thoughts/advice you might have on this!
