Conor, I regret if you were offended when in episode four I corrected your pronunciation of "Magus". Mistakes were made, and I am informed that in some instances and circumstances pronunciations exist which seem to align more with your idiosyncratic way of voicing it than mine.

I understand and am taking steps to learn. I now know that some people are more sensitive, have less control and self-esteem and can be damaged when others point out their obvious flaws.

Well, let's turn your weakness into a strength: I plan to begin pronouncing the word your way! And for every instance in the future where I fail to do so I will donate a page of Shadow Moon to someone in need and will take time off from reading it and spend that time in contemplation.

Yours,

M. John Nelson and counsel

Forget Magus/Magus, I'm still trying to figure out if it's pronounced Bram or Bram...

Mike (here's a sentence I'm not likely to ever type again:) thank you for that compelled? legal statement : it was hilarious. Pitch-perfect wording for An UberPC Public "Apology" in Our Times! Whilst in some ways quite Left myself, as shaped by authentic Christianity, the slide in important domains of Western culture too far Ideologically Left, & beyond the bounds of Science, Reason & Common Sense is, ironically, something that rarely fails to "Trigger" me :) ! What we all need to learn here is that ANY TIME ANYBODY claims to have been "offended" --- or indeed to have suffered ANY negative experience in response to ANYTHING WE THINK / COMMUNICATE / DO --- REGARDLESS of whether the allegation of "cause" adheres to the basic principles of evidence &/or logic, it is OUR OWN FAULT, & we must publicly lick the ground at their feet. Perhaps multiple times (as desired.)
