Damn I'm updating so much lately! Can't tell if it's a renewed energy or just a sense of the pendulum swinging down HAHA gotta get those pages out while the internet is still legal

I mentioned in the previous notes page (for MI) how I block silhouettes for poses and draw details for expressions, you can see that here. I've also recently (like, since this yellow-gray scene began) returned to an older style of inking, where I'll use a larger brush to ink around the outsides and then use a smaller one to fill in the centers. IDK if it makes a huge difference, but it forces me to again look at the silhouettes instead of just getting caught up in the niggly stuff.

Anyways. I like this scene. The original scene took place at the wall they were peeking over a few pages ago, but the lack of literal or figuative depth in the scene was bugging me. My solution was adding some height just for visual interest and also to give one of them the high-ground (deserved or not).

I also like the idea of a younger, more coddled sibling being more of a peacenik, and the less-favored sibling being more bitter about the world and also less able to say anything about it without being considered a bitch. Not to say she isn't legitimately a bitch, but maybe there's a good reason. Also I'm definitely talking about myself right now lol.

I love these process updates so much. Rest assured, you aren't totally talking to yourself. Edit: I saw this update at 5am and totally misread your last sentence. Ignore me, carry on!
