Oh this was lovely. Did Suede ever did something like this for Generations? (And if so do anybody has the link?)

Kind of echoed my thoughts. It was very pretty, and really cool to hear SungWon Cho in that final episode, but had weirdly little substance, even considering the length. I was also disappointed by the "why don't they have British accents" thing (as a Brit myself), but thinking about it, it would actually be kind of weird if they did? Hardly anyone in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh sounded Japanese, hardly anyone in Kalos sounded French, so why should Britain be the exception. Plus, although Twilight Wings probably did have the budget for authentic Brit accents, very likely the main anime does not, and even though they have different actors between them, they probably still want the 2 interpretations to feel like they could be in the same universe. If it's a choice between American accents in this and broad, unconvincing cockney for 50+ full length episodes, I'll take the former. Side note: I watched Glitchxcity's stream from last week where she interviewed a bunch of current Pokemon English dub VAs, and apparently they were asking for English accents in the auditions for Galar based characters in Journeys, but they decided against it ultimately.
