Control App Update - poll results & v0.3 plans (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

Thanks to the dozens of you who shared your opinion in the recent polls. The results weren't too surprising. 

The first poll result showed that most want more 'visual aid' in the sex scenes. Alright you pervs, fine, but you better help source the content. 

(If you genuinely would like to help - please apply this consideration: scenes involving you the player and the wife are seen in 1st person POV. Scenes without MC are 3rd person.  I'm pretty lax when it comes to the 'actress', so long as she's brunette, relatively fits the description, or if the content could be cropped.)

The second poll tells me that most want to see more game aspects, and about half that want to see simplified story-telling... However the qualitative feedback was that fundamentally we don't want to lose the 2nd person story immersion in a mess of complicated game mechanics. It's a bit more of a divided result, but that's fine. I had something in mind which kind of fits down the middle. 

So with that, onto the plans for v0.3...

It's going to be a bigger update than most. I've broken it out into 4 pillars:

1 - Gameplay Revamp: Immersion, Story, & Replay-ability

A reconstruction of the game's build, and implementation of new, focused gameplay which will pivot to a more cohesive format of game and streamlined story-telling. 

Playthroughs should feel immersive and not at all the same (pending more story and branch content). The game branches in different ways depending on the decisions the player's make, most branches ending in a game end with an option to start again with the viewed scenes unlocked, and a unique bonus to the next playthrough I.e. increase bonus to variable gains.

There will be game mechanics, however focus on story and immersion is utmost. 

2 - Bug Fixing

Hand-in-hand with the rebuild... I'll be able to apply a little more knowledge and pre-planning in the game's flow & variable use, and an opportunity to get rid of the goddamn bugs holy shit. 

3 - Core Story / Debt Path

Self-explanatory. I'll write out more of the core story / main path, which delves into the 'debt' the player will be burdened with.

4 - Misc Side Plots

I have several miscellaneous mini plots and branches that have been pending, including;

• Gym
• Public Bathrooms
• Wife Seduction
• Stalker

Mightn't get through them all in v0.3, however they're certainly on the list.

I won't give an ETA yet - I don't know how long it will take. It'll be one of the biggest updates, and closing into the busiest time of year for me (EOFY). I don't want to rush it and deliver half a release, but I'll do my best to keep everyone informed of the development.
