Love this show. Looking forward to next week. I’m crossing my fingers that you post the last 3 episodes of season 2 next week! Instead of splitting it two episodes and then one. Thanks again for your reaction Mary!

Sam Bennett

Gus...here we go! The show only gets more and more suspenseful from here on in. You're going to want to binge watch so bad, Mary, xD but stay strong. You can do it.

Mary this thumbnail is a lie! I expected Gus to show up (its been awhile since a rewatch) But it ended with walt remodeling. Otherwise im loving the reaction. Such nuanced story telling. Even colors have meaning. I'm appreaching it even more now.

Nope that's how I've always had it served and I've been eating it all my life dude, I'm Mexican, we eat everything with both beans and rice.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

I will cop to double checking myself on Wikipedia, that's why I added that some people serve it with guacamole and garnishes, I don't recall that except the tomato slices, that I remember. But then again half the time I'm eating huevos rancheros I'm hungover, and guacamole sounds like a nice addition and there are always variations, Mexicans love to experiment with flavors. But hand to God my favorite thing about Huevos rancheros is mixing the egg yolk with the salsa, rice, and beans, and scooping it up in a well charred corn tortilla.

Personal experience doesn't make it typical everywhere the dish is served. I've eaten it my whole life too and very rarely have had it served with rice. Think I'll make some this weekend.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

Well if they were serving it without the rice they definitely weren't family, or didn't love you man, sorry, Mexicans never skip the rice and/or beans if we actually like you.

Rice is listed as an "accompaniment" to the dish, meaning it's a side. My point was that it's not a main ingredient of the dish itself.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

Jesus Christ okay you win, you know more about Mexican food than Mexicans, congratulations.

Anonymous

Who said I wasn't? What's with the assumptions? And even when you google images of it, you don't even see it with rice. So, it's not a MAIN ingredient. No need to be so testy, man, geez.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

I assume you're an original person since you stole the name of a character much more interesting than you've shown yourself to be. And like I said, if you were Mexican you'd know, you serve it with rice. Pedantic troll.

Yes, you know everything about my life based on a semantics argument about what's a main ingredient vs. a side dish. You see a lot, Joe. How do you do it?

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

I know enough about you Rustin, to make this my last response. I just wanted to recommend a nice dish to Mary, she can have it with or without rice if she likes, or not at all... you, sir, made it awkward and about you for no good reason. Happy viewing in the future.

I didn't make it about myself at all. All I did was talk about the dish itself. You're the one who made it about yourself with statements like "If we didn't serve it to you with rice, it's cuz we Mexicans don't like you." Projecting, man. Have a nice day.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

Those are not quite huevos rancheros (ranch style eggs), at least the way I've always had them. They're fried eggs over easy on top of corn tortillas (flour is okay, but who warms tortillas in a toaster oven?), with homemade salsa (pico de Gallo), served with Mexican rice, and usually refried pinto beans, and some people serve it with guacamole and sliced tomatoes or some other garnish. It's my absolute favorite savory breakfast, so delicious.

Don Mayhem

There has to be a video out there of different comedic scenes of Walt and Jesse with slap stick comedy or Laurel and Hardy music playing. Aaaa Wire lol. "You pull like a girl." You know, pull this" lmao. This is a another entertaining episode. Vince Gilligan did a great job making a character driven story

Dan

Omg she called out the yellow sheets and it never occurred to me! I've seen this show probably two dozen times by now and just realized that, hahah. Oh, man!

Mark Messer

The drinking age in the US is actually 21.

Michael Short

I probably would have aced Chemistry if I had this show growing up lol
