I am so excited to post this one! This is one of those movies that I filmed on a day where I just really wanted to this one and honestly, I've had a good time! Do you have other animated movies (pixar/dreamworks/disney) recommendations for me?

I actually don't love the LEGO Movie or its sequel, but I do love The LEGO Batman Movie (which is its own story, not connected to those movies). Of course, if you were going to see an animated superhero movie, I'd pick Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which in my book is not just the best Spider-Man movie, but perhaps the best movie with the Marvel logo in front of it from any studio. (Note: if you watch it, be sure to watch not just the post-credits scene, but the whole initial credits sequence ahead of the scrolling section.) Outside of Disney/Pixar/DreamWorks, there's also Laika (Coraline, ParaNorman) and Aardman (Chicken Run, Wallace and Gromit). One very good movie that would be fun to see you react to is Who Framed Roger Rabbit. And then there's Studio Ghibli (yes, I know all the issues)... Also, I said this on Twitch, but Kung Fu Panda 2 is even better than this one, IMO.

Definitely Kung Fu Panda 2, for starters, Tangled (pretty funny take on the Rapunzel story), Shrek, in case you never saw it (and I think the sequels are all far, far better than people tend to say they are), and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which easily takes spot number one as far as Spidey movies go, imho. Just great craftsmanship all around. There is a whole lot of good stuff. I loved Soul, Meet The Mitchells was very well received, Luca was a blast... Ratatouille is my favorite cooking movie after Chef and the Monsters Inc. flicks might be some of the funniest I've seen, or so help me. Difficult to go wrong, just pick one that looks good. Something about good animated movies making them so easy to dive into, too.

Great reaction as always Mary. This is such a classic. Definitely recommend Kung Fu Panda 2. And also Up.

Up is a great animated movie

Might I suggest watching the Japanese anime movie Your Name? It's one of my favorites and I feel like you would enjoy it immensely as well. 😊

Thube Zondi

Anything from Studio Ghibli, if you haven't seen their stuff. Spirited Away is probably their most accessible movie.

I'm absolutely ecstatic that you got to watch this. The KUNG-FU PANDA trilogy is a personal favorite of mine. The second one in particular is one of the best animated movies of all time, in my humble opinion. Also from DreamWorks animation, I strongly recommend the HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON trilogy, as well as the THE CROODS, ANTZ, MEGAMIND, MONSTERS VS. ALIENS, and PUSS IN BOOTS.

Ghibli stuff is a copyright-NIGHTMARE on YT, sadly...

If you're up for more Spider-Man, the animated INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE is fantastic and honestly better than any of the live-action ones (most of which I also like). RATATOUILLE and UP are two Pixar ones from arguably their most creatively successful period, and INSIDE OUT and SOUL are more recent ones that are very good. And WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT is an all-time classic live-action/animation hybrid that everyone should see at least once. :)

The good news for Thube is that he can watch Spirited Away on here -- she already reacted to it. As olly.enn says, it can't go to YouTube, but there is a full-length.

-Fantastic Mr. Fox (Based on a Roald Dahl novel directed by Wes Anderson who has also directed The Grand Budapest Hotel...hint hint:) -The Iron Giant -Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit -Ponyo (Studio Ghibli so it may have to be a Patreon only)

How about Rango? It is brilliantly draw, excellently acted and all sorts of weird fun!
