Best show ever. So glad you're watching this.

The "just chemistry" line wasn't referring to Walt not having a soul but realizing that it is more than just chemistry (not that he's accepted Platonic philosophy or had any deep religious experience). If it was just chemistry it wouldn't have been so difficult to kill him. He saw the soul in him, so to speak. And it appears you missed one juicy tidbit during Hank and Steve's conversation: Domingo/Crazy 8 was their snitch (spy). So, if Walt would have let him go, it'd be all over.

I now have something new to look forward to every week. Now the show gets really good over the next few episodes! Hoping you don't alternate seasons with something else because season 2 gets much better and I selfishly don't want to wait haha.. Actually every season gets better and better!

Flesh smoothie anyone? LMAO The woman who played Wendy, some people actually thought she was a hooker and asked her for sex/ lol How fucken awkward that must of been for her. The color Yellow is suppose to symbolize danger like the yellow bag with a gun and also the yellow plate. A little inspiration from The Godfather with the oranges which was a pure coincidence according to the filmmakers of The Godfather

Good additions for a more comprehensive understanding. Definitely interesting to watch Mary react to the health care insanity that only got exacerbated over the years - and barely takes into account the dreadful reality of the last Great Recession happening, just around when BB S1 aired. Speaking of housing crisis: there were huge discussions about BB seeming utterly implausible to foreign audiences (I've personally had lots of contact to native Chinese speakers confirming most sentiments) for how the Whites have a pretty big home but can't begin to afford their payments. It's such an interesting snapshot of most of modern America, this sober, somber, insane look into a never-changing system of systemic poverty and anguish. What a great show and we're just getting started.

1. Walt's healthcare situation is merely the McGuffin. It could have just as easily been something else that set him off on the destructive path he chose. 2. Please leave your low-info political opinions out of this.
