Hi everyone!

I just came back home from my Bachelorette trip! That means I did record the movie for this week up front, so this poll is for a movie that I'll post next week.  I'm also sick right now (I didn't even drink!) so I might be a bit quiter this week, but I'll try to upload at the regular schedule.

Anyyyyway abot the poll: some are seperate movies, some are sequels that I want to continue, some are just movies that I just want to see myself and if they do poorly on this poll I can watch them in bed with tea :D. I know it's a bit of a random poll, but my head is killing me and I can't structure a decent one lol.

I hope you have a good week ahead!

Amadeus is FANTASTIC, but the only version that's really available right now is the so-called "director's cut," which isn't really the director's cut. Apparently, there's a new restoration of the original theatrical version in the works, so it might be worth it to wait for that. It's shorter, but it's honestly a better movie.

This might be the first poll where I've voted for like half the options... haha!

Have you already seen Blade Runner?

Come on guys. How many times do we need to see Rocky? So many good ones on this list.

I voted for Leon and Amadeus. Of the two i would choose Leon if i had to make a choice, but Amadeus is an absolute joy for the eyes and not the least, the ears :-)

John Courtright

A good selection. I choose "The Green Mile" (Lol - I know you're waiting for the right moment, Mary.) Ex Machina and Leon are good. Amadeus is fascinating, but (as mentioned by Bryan above), probably worth waiting for the restoration of the original theatrical version. I would also throw in a vote for "Meet Joe Black" (a romance with a twist) with Brad Pitt, Claire Forlani, and Anthony Hopkins.

Rocky IS one of the good ones, as well as Ex Machina, Léon: The Professional, Amadeus, The Lives of Others, and Blade Runner.

I do that with almost every poll cuz there's always a good selection.

Travis

Please make time for Ex Machina regardless of how the poll turns out. You won’t regret it. It’s so interesting.

How about trying a themed poll? Like a legal drama poll, a comedy poll, a true crime movie poll, a classics poll, a sci-fi poll, a "movies that Mary wants to watch right f_cking NOW" poll. Ya know, something like that. Or just watch the runner-up as well as the winner (Ex Machina is thought-provoking and amazing).

Amadeus is brilliant and one of the most underrated films of all time.

Jack the Narrator

Despite its pitiful amount of votes on the poll, THE MAZE RUNNER trilogy is definitely worth checking out, imho. It the only YA series adaptation that had a strong and engaging narrative throughout. Happy to see that ROCKY is winning the poll, though. It's the perfect movie to introduce Mary to the legendary Sylvester Stallone.

fanofactionflicks

it would be better to watch "Blade Runner" before "Blade Runner 2049"

Ex Machina is fantastic. And 2 of the leads are also in The Force Awakens which I have mentally been waiting for you to get to for what feels like almost 2 years lol
