And another one, this one felt like a big swing in the other direction of actually knowing what i'm doing (kinda).
Note to self, less paint is more. So many videos i've watched (less about the painting process and more just the logistics behind it, with stuff like my safflower oil brush dip etc.) mention to always use a decent amount of paint...and yet what they don't mention is how quickly it becomes a bloody mess! This one was the exact opposite as mentioned by Richard Schmid (who i am just gonna lean out of the window and say that Richard Schmid out of everyone probably knows what the hell he's talking about) And zippedy zoop, here we are. Feeling much more comfortable again.

Might be luck of course as it's so far just this one painting that it worked out with, but we'll see when i sit down for another one.
