Great reaction =) I'm only going to touch as far as what you guys already said. As you said there's sparks so far between Karen and Jim but at the time this was airing because you couldn't go ahead and see what happened next, there were some people who absolutely despised Karen and the writers tried hard to make her seem like a normal person who is kind, works hard, and has a nice personality to blunt some of that hate but people still loathed her for having sparks with JIm. So I'm glad that you two don't dislike her for that (not that I thought you would). I really love her character personally. Dwight is always going to want to strive for power throughout the series, no changing that but it's funny how he really does go a bit too far (even with the health plan in season one). I think that the Dwight-Angela storyline was supposed to be the writers doing a parody/taking inspiration from MacBeth where Lady MacBeth talks her husband into taking power so that she can use it herself. I'm not the biggest lover of Shakespear but find that using that play to take inspiration from and craft this story between Dwight-Angela and Jan and Michael works well in this episode. As a last thought, my favorite line from this episode is from Michael "Your dentist's name is Crentist? Sounds a lot like dentist" Anyway, great reaction, I shared some of the YouTube videos of yours to some friends so hopefully they'll become patreons as well =D Hope your throat feels better JRabbit, (and that that cough has gone away, nobody likes when they have a cough)

This episode was absolutely hilarious and Michael was the MVP of this episode, WoW I never thought I would hear myself saying that. Also Dwight's behaviour surprised the hell out of me because he had plenty of opportunities before but he was always loyal to Michael but I guess the secret romance with Angela is going well for him to betray Michael like that because he had no experience plus no action plan to convince Jan that he's the right man for the job. Also I would love to see more of Jim's branch because they have some bonkers characters and his work environment looks amazing plus they have more fun at work, Can't wait for the next one

I genuinely love this episode, but it’s here where my issues with Angela really start. It’s a recurring pattern where Angela does and/or says something shitty, somebody else (or no one) pays for it, and she just gets to continue on without changing, growing, or paying a cost. Don’t get me wrong: everyone in the Office is “the Worst” at one point or another, but, aside from a few universally hated characters introduced in the tail end of the series, everyone pays for and evolves from it. Except fucking Angela. Someone earlier compared her to Lady Macbeth, which I think is fair in this particular episode, but, crucially, even Lady Macbeth eventually felt so guilty about her actions that she killed herself. Without getting into spoilers, the only moments of introspection or relationship building she ever gets are purely self serving, and yet she is continually rewarded with everything she wants. Seriously, fuck her. …sorry, I’ll try to keep my Angela hate down to one-per-season from now on. **should go without saying, but this is in no way a reflection on actress Angela Kinsey, who is, by all accounts and evidence, an absolutely delightful human being.

I once asked my younger brother which character I reminded him of from the office and he said Angela. I burst out crying and wouldn’t speak to anyone because I took it as such an insult. (I was hoping he’d say Kelly or “Kelly” ;)) in the end he said that after thinking it over I was more like the character (using initials to prevent spoilers) HF. Not my fave but to me at that time two years ago being told I’m like Angela was such an insult to me On buzzfeed style quizzes though I typically get Kevin and I’m okay with that
