They're big, and ugly, and mean as sin!

concept arrttt. The explanation of Flutterbat never really made sense to me (Twilight switched the bats desire to be bats with Fluttershy's mind? Wat??), so I'm just gonna headcanon that Twilight kind of accidentally cursed her friend. Although she and her friends were able to capture feral Fluttershy and seemingly reverse the effects, the curse lingered. Fluttershy still has curiously sharp canine teeth.....and it's possible that she may have passed even more unsavory traits on to her unsuspecting daughter, Rosemary.

Vampire Rosemary transforms every harvest moon. I'm wondering whether to make her an actual vampire that drinks blood, cuz what's the conflict in only going after apple juice

Hmm, could be an interesting thing to add into the current canon storyline. Maybe she could be like a red herring during the whole "moondancer going around sucking magic out of ponies" deal. Maybe like, ponyville as a whole believes that maybe a vampire pony is among them and could possibly be responsible for ponies missing? I dunno, just kinda popped into my head :)

I would like to think that Stormy knows about this and spends every Harvest moon with Rosie to coax her into not killing anybody, but that’s probably pretty optimistic considering Stormy would probably more realistically be scared shitless

Also I love the design here, especially the eyes and nose

I love the details here, you really captured a primal and animalistic look with that expression.

I’m not even joking after you posted birb horses I got thinking about bat ponies and how even a sweetheart one like Umbra could be considered intimidating when he’s doing a threat display (hissing, teeth barred, wings flared). But wow cursed bat pony Rosie takes that to a new level I LOVE it! Hmmm...maybe all bat ponies have a degree of this type of “curse”? Like under extreme circumstances or life and death situations they have this last bit of fail safe that turns them into truly formidable creatures to trifle with? It doesn’t last long, and rare for it to occur, and they are completely exhausted and vulnerable after it happens but it’s usually enough to get them safe. I imagine ancient tales and rumors about a bat pony in rage killing whole armies or slaughtering innocent bystanders still persists after centuries and a good amount of modern Equestrian ponies are still wary of the mysterious and spooky night inhabitants
