I find this episode to be very unsettling; the overall themes and topics make for very difficult viewing. From my X-Files point of view, it's hard to watch the effects that the events of the episode have on Mulder: he is always so driven, it's terrible to see him become so lost.

A very controversial two-parter among fans, although I've learned to appreciate and accept it, despite there being issues... but I'll say more when it wraps up in the next episode, titled "Closure". Lots to say after that one. And enjoyable reaction as usual.
