 v0.75 was a much needed polish phase for the entirety of the game. But  now I move on and start working on v0.8. Things will be revisited and  improved as time goes on just like the previous versions but I will be focusing on v0.8 now.

This update has two big parts; multiple lolis and some swimming/water related update. The road to v0.8 is the following:

Multiple lolis requires optimizations because of some very old internal technical reasons (combining skinned mesh renderers is way too expensive). If you've played the game before you've noticed that the game momentarily stutters as your loli spawns. This is ok for a single character but when there are lots of characters, this is unacceptable and will produce lots of random freezing as you play the game. I have already started to optimize character model loading and so far have gone from ~890 ms to ~180 ms.

A single game frame should complete in under 33 ms for 30FPS Keyboard mode and 11 ms for 90FPS VR. There is a bit of leeway that allows me to go past this since there are built in mechanisms in Unity that alleviate laggy frames (reprojection, Timewarp, Spacewarp, etc.). Thus I will try to hit under 100ms for each loli character. After this optimization phase, I should be able to spawn dozens without any noticeable hit to framerate.

Moving on in the schedule is physics implementation. The body of loli characters will be converted to live animated ragdolls for ultimate physics shenanigans. This will tremendously improve the way that you interact with lolis as you will be able to interact with every joint of her body in a physical way, just like Boneworks. This decision is part of my plan to move towards a more physical world. Physics also helps reduce the number of needed animations because many can now be made in a procedural fashion (falling off cliff, floor, being hit by objects, etc.). I will be purchasing an addon that will do all the heavy lifting for implementation and speed up development.

Multiple lolis means characters will be doing their own thing in an autonomous way.  This aspect I will refer to as "loli employment" because it will essentially be their job to fulfill their assigned activities.  Some might be walking around, others might be picking fruit, cleaning the streets with a broom, or tending to wildlife.

Lastly, I will have a new swimming feature for the game in which you can take your loli(s) for a dip in a local water body. I'm open to the idea of having the community select what kind of water body they want to see. This could be a regular beach, lake, or maybe even a Japanese onsen if that's your thing. I will be opening a poll to vote on this feature in a couple weeks.
