Beta v0.7d Pre-Release (Patreon)

This beta has a TON of new stuff to test out in the kitchen. There will be more cooking mechanics within the next week but I need people to test out how the following new objects feel:

1.) Mortar+Pestle wheat grinding

2.) Egg cracking

3.) Filling pot with water

4.) Storing ingredients

5.) Ingredient management

PLEASE READ AND DO THE FOLLOWING:

Start by dropping wheat onto the mortar. This will add seeds to it. You can drop the seeds in the mortar by literally tipping it over. Try it out.

Then, grind the wheat with the pestle. PICK UP the mortar and use the pestle in your other hand to grind it until the meter goes up. Afterwards, place the flour contents in either the STORAGE JAR or MIXING BOWL:

You can find the jar on the closet of the far side of the kitchen. You can take the lid off and store or pour out its contents. You can move the flour between containers by pouring it in and out.

Once you played around with it, you can put flour in the mixing bowl and also put up to 3 EGG YOLKS in it. If you crack them inside the mixing bowl, the texture will change to signify you mixing flour+eggs. This is as far as the flour mechanics have gone and in the upcoming days, batter mixing will be implemented.

You can also fill the black pot with water by using the sink like the bathroom valves. After that you can drop any fruit into the water. The color of the water will change depending on the fruits you put in it (strawberries, blueberries, new cantaloupe, and peaches). Instead of just dropping fruits, you will need to cut the fruit in an upcoming version.

You can find one new cantaloupe plant outside the house.

Environment sounds and new improved trees are in this beta as well as numerous improvements regarding player movement in VR and picking objects up. Also some objects now have collision sounds for when they hit the floor! Give it a try and remember to provide FEEDBACK in the comments below or the Discord!

Feedback is very important! These are the raw building blocks for the upcoming cooking as a whole. Once they feel good, loli behaviors for cooking will be implemented.
