Wonderful Patrons,

The shift in season is so dang PRETTY but it is also wreaking absolute havoc on my absurd little system. I don't know what it is but for some reason, my body has always treated any shift in temperature like the end of the dang world.

As a result, I spend the first couple weeks of real fall weather FREEZING like I've lived in the Mediterranean my whole life and just been randomly transported to the middle of arctic winter. It is absurd and requires a couple of weeks of layering like a lunatic before my sweet lil' system remembers that we've pretty reliably survived all the Canadian seasons so it's probably NOT necessary to send me into a shiver-fit every time the temperature drops.

Please bear with my weird layers and blanket bundles while I try to get my temperature regulated friends. Thank you all for being here through all the absurdity and beauty of the seasonal shifts, and making space for me to create and share the silliest of moments.

You're wonderful.

Blanket nests are the best to sleep in ... Ah... *Settles into blanket nest*

Have you heard of a kotatsu? I had one when I lived in Japan and it helped so much that I imported one when I moved back to America. It makes the Fall Freeze actually spark joy.
