Hello beautiful Patrons!

This is the round up of the week two paintings from StreamInk and I’m still so pleased with how these are turning out. Thinking about how to relate the prompts to lore from the Twitch channel has been such a joy and I’ve had so much help from you all during livestreams.

It made me realize that brainstorming these ideas is so often something we imagine ourselves doing alone - and it can be. Thinking through work independently can be super I portent for preserving a clear vision. But I have found such a joyful way of making when we think through artworks together. There is a playfulness to working with others that I adore and I’m lucky to get to do it so often in livestreams.

This sweet little drawing challenge has been so much fun and YOU are all the reason I can spend time on it. Thank you, you magical gems. Your belief in my work is forever a heart squeeze.

I love when artists have such a defined style like this. I've always been jealous! My art attention span is so short I guess I never make multiple things that look alike!

PS: Do you mind if I ask what you use for your lineart? I've just gotten curious since the effect looks different than when I use my fineliners.

Sure! The linework on these is printed from the colouring pages and then sometimes I overline them with a grey fineliner (I have a bunch of brands remind me I can show you on stream - derwent ones are up there right now?) but also sometimes I use watercolour pencil if I want it to look a little softer!

haha I do that too - I actually drew these in a couple "batches" and made style choices like the border so they'd look like a set and I think that helps. I've never had a super consistent style so I definite have to make conscious choices to make things look coherent!
