Hope you enjoyed the weekend!

I think that's the first video I've put a small jumpscare into a review video. As it turns out YouTube still detects video timestamps as a spam link sometime, so I came back to around 40 "likely spam" flagged comments all with variations of "6:34 fuck you" in several languages. I'm surprised how many people I managed to actually get with it as I timed the gunshot to be about half a second after the cut to not immediately burst a gunshot sound but it turns out that was still enough!

I've also learned that Call of Cthulhu The Game (coming out on Halloween) is a different game from Call of Cthulhu The Sinking City (which might just be "The Sinking City" now), so I'm officially not caught up with what each game is entirely about so that'll be something to read up on later. Now onto imminent plans.

As I detailed in the past posts, Cultist Simulator and Pathologic are the immediate focuses. However, I've decided to undertake all of the character playthroughs in Pathologic. If you're unfamiliar with this game, it basically means I might have well over 60 hours by the time I'm through with it so it might become an ongoing thing until November/December. So that's going to be a game I'm going to be doing a lot of recording of before I can get started with the editing portion.

While Cultist Simulator's patch came on Tuesday with its DLC, it has had a patch nearly daily ever since. It's to the point where I've not been able to get a proper game of it yet as the release was slightly buggier than they intended. While I was hoping to have a video out on it ON Halloween, this isn't going to be possible for a game that's so complex that I've been delayed a few days on. So we have options.

There's another game that I know I could easily do a video on in time.

Blood Omen Legacy of Kain is the first Legacy of Kain game, and also the most pain in the ass one to find/run properly due to it not being sold on digital retailers due to some rights issues and also being a pain in the ass to run in general. However, I have a working copy and could have a video on it just in time for Halloween since I'm familiar with it. Otherwise I could just get started on the Cultist Simulator video now, and you can expect it sometime after Halloween. I was pretty adamant what the next two videos would be so this would throw a wrench into that, but there could be a lot of interest. I just don't know yet, so here's a poll.

Legacy of Kain will be a surprise video for everyone else if it ends up being chosen. It won't be marked on The List™.

Vote wisely!

Blood omen actually looks pretty cool.

As soon as I saw Legacy of Kain, I knew I needed a review. I've never heard anything about the game besides from trailers in older films, and I've been forever interested

Friend used to pitch how good Legacy of Kain was back when I was 12 but I never had consoles then, and the only one I had was locked during the weekdays(+only playable for 2 hours during weekends), would be nice to see the magic behind it.

Halloween video would be nice, I don't really care on what game. More Lord Mandy=more fun

I voted legacy; HOWEVER: thats only if it is convenient and not throwing you a curveball At the end of the day: do whatever is most convenient and can receive that quality we're so familiar with 👍

At this point I don't think there is a game you could talk about that I would not find entertaining! Keep up the amazing videos but obviously also don't burn yourself out.

Do whatever fits for you. i dont know anything about either of these games but i do find the older games more entertaining to watch.

Same. I support both ideas ;)
