Those nasty buggers are going to be a pain in the ass for Maya, in more ways than one...

The main development goals for this month are:

  • Design and create the rest of the proper hill stages;
  • Add 2 new common enemies for those stages;
  • Add 1 new boss fight;
  • Flesh out the ero scene of the beach boss (it will have an additional phase to it);
  • Add more internal shots for existing enemies;

Secondary goals:

  • Create the "Stats" screen where the player can see their current attack power, defense rating, max life and things like that. In the future things like status effects and benefitial buffs will be displayed in this screen as well;
  • Create the "Fetish Toggle" screen where players can customize which types of fetishes they want to see or block;
  • Add proper animations for when Maya uses throwing items and drinks potions;
  • Continue working on stuff such as bug fixing and background/framework development, which is always ongoing;

I've already completed some of those points, such as the bug fixing and the 1st new common enemy. Others I'm working on them as of now and the rest I hope to tackle over the course of this month.

Always nice to see updates. And I'm excited to see what the other common enemy will be. Also just a quick question, after the hill stage, do you have any plans on how many more stages will be after this?

I'm planning for around 10 stages or so. For now we have: beach, forest and hills... so the idea is 7 more. That said its not set in stone and it may be more or less. On that note, I'm actually long overdue of posting my long term plans for the game in a single place so that everyone is aligned on what the end goals for the game are. I'll make a post here on patreon detailing those and maybe even pin it.
