Getting Closer (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I haven't posted much lately since I didn't have any new screenshots to share that you haven't already seen. I thought about throwing together a little trailer or clip from the video, but since the video is already rather short, I didn't wanna give away any of my favorite moments too soon. The good news is that it's looking like I am going to be able to finish this one by the end of the month! After that, I'm going to be fresh out of live action content to edit, but I am hoping to shoot in early January. In the meantime, I did that VR shoot with Lauren to make sure I'd still have some things to share with everyone.

In terms of life stuff, I am about halfway done with all of my applications, and should be back to a normal go in January. Thank you again for your patience, the support is truly appreciated. 

I have mixed feelings about the clip itself. I worry that folks aren't going to like it because it doesn't have too much action. However, it reminds me of "Those Who Wander," which is the first clip I ever edited, mainly because the climax of the plot revolves around something that isn't quite typical (in that video it was the toothbrush moment), but where still exerts her power. 

Right now I am in the phase where I am fixing up all of the sounds/mixing the levels, and adding in some of the shakes. The more I've made these videos the more I've realized this is part of the process I shouldn't rush, since I cringe at a lot of the ways I used to mix the levels or add the shakes lol. Your feedback has been helpful in that department. Especially with sound editing, you have to step away from it with fresh ears, otherwise your brain won't recognize the differences. It's one of those things where the editing process takes days of waking up and checking to see if the levels make sense or not lol. 

Hoping to have this out by the end of next week, as long as nothing weird randomly pops up in my life.
