"This is... pretty hard to understand." But at least I can understand it. It's the only book who doesn't sound like gibberish to me, and it's also the only book who isn't trying to kill me.

Regulus looks over to me. "Learning magic is complicated, that was the case even back in my world. So don't give up so easily." I nod, it goes without saying, but I have no intentions of giving up.

I'm fulfilling a dream here, I'm reading the books that I was never supposed to even come close to. And just a moment before I was staring at a bunch of magical items which were also beyond my grasp.

In essence, I feel great. However, night has fallen, so... I close the book. "Let's hunt, Regulus. This is the time Masters come out to play after all." Admittedly stopping right now is a bit frustrating.

I wanted to learn how to make bounded fields before I left, to avoid receiving the same fate as Tohsaka, but I didn't even get close. I guess Rome wasn't built in a day, and I don't even have a teacher, so I can't complain.

He nods, and stretches his body. "Very well... Though have you developed any plans on how to deal with a Servant? You were too afraid to face you sister's one head on after all." I can't deny that.

"I wouldn't say I have a plan, but I do have a general tactic. It's pretty simple, we don't fight a Servant if only they are around, we only engage if the Master is close. That's because we will aim to kill the Masters." Then the Servants should go away unless they have some sort of special skill.

"Could you even kill a human as you are right now, my wielder?" What kind of question is that? Since when did you became some super wise teacher that goes around lecturing people over the value of life?

I wave him off. "Of course I can. It can't be that hard, since people do it all the time." He snorts, apparently finding my dismissal funny. "Anyways, let's discuss our battle plan, because I came up with a few ideas."

"Well, I'm listening... This last one wasn't awful, so I have high expectations." Please lower them then! Because I definitely can't live up to it!

"Okay, so here are them, we have essentially three plans of action we can choose today. First we can scout the city like yesterday, maybe look at the more traditional part of the city." There would be no gigantic buildings there...

"The other action is attacking the Einzberns... You see, the ritual is setup by three great families. The Tohsaka, the Matou and them, and as such they always get a spot on the ritual. The problem with this though, is that I don't know where they would be." And I don't want to attack a fortress when the mage is around anyways. Not everyone will be as soft as Rin.

The lion interjects. "So you were a discarded family of one of those important families due to your lack of magical potential, huh?" Why are you rubbing it on my face!? "Fate is such a funny thing..."

I ignore his comment and continue. "The other option is attacking the Matou, and I actually do know where they are." And my whole soul wants to do it. Besides, stealing their things would be helpful as well.

"There are problems with this however... Mostly because I don't even know if they have a Servant. Their heir had no Magical Circuits, but they ended up adopting someone who had. I don't know if that someone was recognized by the Grail."

The lion sighs. "I see. I imagine you also don't want to attack this because you are scared of facing a Servang in their turf?" Not really.

I shake my head. "I was actually hoping they didn't have a Servant in the first place, so I could steal their stuff without much resistance." He's now looking at me like I'm a kleptomaniac.

His eye twitches. "I cannot help, but feel you want to attack these Matou's due to personal issues." Did he figure out!? "You're jealous of that boy, aren't you? The one who had no magic and was kept." Actually he's completely wrong.

"I have no feelings towards Shinji. I barely even talk with the guy." He seems nice, I guess. I heard he's super popular with chicks. "It's just that the adopted heir... she's my twin sister." And this attack isn't for personal reasons!

The lion gasps. "What kind of soap opera is this!?" Oi! "My wielder... tell me now... do you also have another secret third sister? Maybe one that is living with the Einzbern's?" Wow, I really ruined your brain, didn't I?

"I definitely don't. I think." My father wasn't the type to cheat on his wife... right? "So, what do you think about all routes? Thankfully this isn't a VN, so we don't have to do one before the others."

My reference goes ignored. "We should scout." Eh? "As you said, we know don't where the Einzberns are. And there's no reason to attack the Matous, either they have a Servant and you die, or they don't and you are making enemies for no reason. In a war where you already have seven..." That's...

"Besides, scouting may allow us to find your elder sister now that she is weakened. This may be our chance to put her down." True enough, she probably has abandoned the mansion now that it's compromised after all.

"In the end however, it is your decision. And I can indeed see the benefits of obtaining more magical items, in case you win that gamble." Well, it's good to see that he saw some merit in my strategy.

I shake my head. "No, you're right Regulus. Let's scout and find some ass to kick." I'm not a idiot who lets my desires control me.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////

I am an idiot who lets my desires control me. "I should turn around..." Because right now I'm making my way to the Matou's, so I can beat them up and steal their things.

It's such a idiotic plan. I have no idea if they're part of the war for once, and I don't plan on killing them if they aren't. Which means once my attack is over, everyone will know Daichi Ryouta has crazy powers.

As I move forward, even though Absolute Demise and Regulus Nemea are inside of me right now, I can feel their disapproval. I wonder if all other Longinus users had to deal with such opinionated partners.

I take a deep breath. "No, this is fine. This is definitely fine." They're not gonna have a Servant. I will defeat Sakura, and Zouken is like... super old, so he won't even put up a fight. In a way my twin is my first boss fight.

"Yeah, so unless the world gives me some sort of sign, I won't be stopping." And I'm definitely not nervous either, even though I'm talking to myself. It's just that I got used to talking to Regulus, that's all.

The world gives me a sign.

A little girl is skipping along the other side of the road, humming to herself. Even though it's night, she's completely and utterly alone, with no one even noticing she's there. In a way she's almost like a ghost.

And she looks like one too, since she's wearing some weird form of attire, and that she has pale skin, white hair and red eyes. It makes the fact that she's being ignored all the more creepier.

Most importantly though, she's so... beautiful. Utterly breathtaking in every way possible, so there's no way she can walk around while being ignored. A-and, when I say beautiful I don't mean it in that way! She's a child after all!

Wait... Weird clothing. Albino features. Unbelievably beautiful. Being ignored by people almost as if it was magic... This little girl is definitely an Einzbern. This little girl is definitely a Master!

C-change of plans then. This is the exact situation I wanted so I guess... I'll follow her and murder her. Yeah, I'll just mercilessly murder the little girl that is happily walking without doing anything wrong.

Why the hell did the Einzbern send a child!? Father always said that they were extreme monsters, but I always thought he was just being an asshole like usual! You're telling me that there are worse people than him running around!?

No, it doesn't matter I need to get my head on the game, so I slowly begin to approach her. There are tons of people here, so I'll slowly corner her in a dark place and split her skull with my axe. If she does call her Servant, I will use one of my Longinus to hold them back, while I kill her with the other.

She won't even see me coming. I don't have a Servant, so her Servant won't notice me. In that way I'm the second best assassin of this war... And I'll use this advantages to turn this girl into red paste...!

"Hey big bro, are you alright?" Huh? "You're looking pretty pale... and you're sweating. Maybe you should lay down for a while!" Ah, she noticed me. And now she's talking to me. My opportunity to kill her is probably gone.

I immediately feel better. "I'm fine, don't worry little miss." What a mess. Next time I'll be more careful, though I guess this was never a good place to murder someone anyways, there are people around after all.

She gets closer. "Are you sure...? It's no good to just ignore health problems! I'm pretty frail, so I would know!" I notice that she has pretty soft lips. They look very kissa-.

Wow, hold your horses there champ! "I-I'm fine, seriously!" And now I'm stuttering while talking to a little girl. What has the world come to...? No, it was nothing, just a stray thought I will forget soon enough.

She slowly nods. "Okay then, if you say so..." And then a smile appears on her face, she raises a hand and puts a finger on her lips. "I want a reward for helping you though." Oi, don't you have Masters to kill!?

I look away, my face is completely red. "Fair enough. I'll give you some cash miss..." I don't have time to argue, and staying close to a Master without a plan is dangerous anyways, so I should solve this as quickly as possible.

There are stars in her eyes. "Cash is nice, but I want a popsicle! Buy me one!" But it's super cold though!? We are both even wearing winter attire!

"S-sure..."

...

"This is great!" I'm surprised you aren't shivering. I'm also surprised we even managed to buy a popsicle. "Are you sure you don't want one big bro? It feels kinda mean if only I eat it." What's the problem? I'm the one paying anyways.

But I don't want to act confrontational. "I just... I'm not a fan of the cold, so I don't want to get even colder." Though I'm actually pretty resistant to it. It's most likely because of Absolute Demise.

Illya takes a big lick of her vanilla popsicle, and I can't take my eyes off her. Because she's dangerous of course. "So big bro, what were you doing anyways?" Ah, right, I need to make my brain work!

"I was... um... going to visit a friend." I obviously can't tell her the truth. "And what were you doing...?" I imagine she will lie too, but maybe I can get some amount of truth out of it?

She sighs. "I was gonna go visit my big bro." Huh? "My actual one, not like you of course." Wait, do homunculus even have brothers and sisters...? I guess in a way you could- Illya is licking it again.

My brain take some time to reboot. "I see." I should stop acting like a weirdo. People are now noticing me and her after all. "By the way, what's your name? I'm Daichi Ryouta." She shouldn't recognize it.

"Just call me Illya! Oh, and if you're wondering my brother's name is Shirou Emiya!" That's certainly a super big difference in names. Considering Shirou is clearly Japanese, she must be adopted.

Wait a fucking second. "The fake janitor is your brother!?" I thought he had no family...! Though there is a rumor going around that Fujimaru-Sensei is his adopted big sister.

She raises an eyebrow. "Fake janitor...? Do you know my brother?" I can only nod. "That's cool! Can you talk about him? I bet he's a real meanie, right?" Wow, Shirou doesn't have tons of affection points with his little sister, does he?

I take a deep breath. "He's..." But I can't talk, because I'm in shock. I almost killed Shirou's little sister, and all because of some dumb war. I... the survivor of the Fuyuki Fire would one day wake up and see that his sister got turned into a corpse.

I'll be more careful from now on. "Really nice. He's really nice." And as a apology to him, I might as well try to raise him up in her eyes. Please also take this as an apology for me fantasizing about how deep I cou-.

Intrusive thoughts, go away! "He's always helping everyone, me included. He was also the star of the archery club, so he is talented, and hard working. A good combination." It's a shame he quit.

She squints her eyes. "That doesn't sound like my big bro at all... You're not lying for him, are you cooler big bro?" When did I get such an amazing title!? Though I really am not lying at all.

I shake my head. "I don't know how he is when you two are in private of course, and I'm not exactly his friend either. But I mean it when I say he's super helpful... He's not popular though, I'll admit it."

"It's probably because he never smiles." It's creepy, that's for sure. "If he did it more, he would probably be the most popular guy in school." And then Shinji would finally be dethroned! All hail the new king!

She hums. "This is certainly a new side of him... Nobody ever talked about big bro like that." Is my Senpai secretly a super asshole!? "So, why do you think he never smiles?" That's... maybe I shouldn't talk about this to a child.

Even if it's obvious. "Your big brother... he witnessed a horrible thing when he was really young, and... he's still healing. I'm sure he smiles inside when he sees you though!" Now that I think about it, I don't know much about one of the most important guys at school.

Illya mutters to herself. "Boring. That's boring." Huh? "Hey cooler big bro, my full name is Illyasviel Von Einzbern! I summoned Berserker, and he's right here with us!" My body freezes.

I think about summoning my weapons, but fear stops me. "B-but you said you were Shirou's sister..." There's no way that guy is connected to the Einzberns. He never showed any sign of being a magus...!

She giggles, it makes me shiver. "Oh, don't think too hard about it. Sometimes family doesn't make sense, right Daichi Tohsaka?" She knew.

Shit. "How do you..."

"I got tons of information crammed into my head before I left for the war, so obviously I was told about you." I underestimated people's information gathering. "Don't worry though, I'm not threatening you or anything. I have no intention of killing you."

"In fact, I find you sort of sweet." I hate how that makes me blush. "It's just that I found a child of the Tohsaka's wandering around and shaking like a leaf and decided to talk with him. We are in pretty similar situations too, so I took pity on you." In what way?

I try to control my heart. "I see... erm... you're sweet too?" I don't know what else to say. I feel terror running through me and... well... I still pay complete attention everytime she takes a lick out of her popsicle.

She has a wicked grin on. "That's nice to hear. Here a tip though... Stop leaving your house at night, you never know when you might stumble onto a monster. People have been getting hurt recently after all..." Hah!? "And apparently only men are targeted."

She shrugs. "Well, you're not my problem. See ya cooler big bro, I gotta watch big bro a bit more. If you lied about him I'll kill you by the way." It's a good thing I haven't lied...? I definitely avoided a bad end just now.

She starts walking away, and I awkwardly wave goodbye to the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Aesthetically speaking of course, I'm not some super pervert who should be rotting in a jail cell.

And then she turns around. "Oh, and here's an extra..." And then she swallows the popsicle and... "U-um~!?" Basically starts giving it a blowjob. Immediate my eyes pay it complete attention, and only me, because the normal people are ignoring her again.

She's almost choking herself on it. "I-it's big...! Please stop...!" It goes without saying, but I can barely hear what she's saying. Both because she has her mouth full, and because I'm way too busy being jealous of a popsicle.

Eventually she takes it out, tears in her eyes. "Big bro... you shot so much white stuff down my throat... it's sticky." I think I might die soon. "Heh, make sure to treasure that memory." And now she's grinning again.

I'm too consumed by... something to respond, so she continues. "I never had a guy being interested on me like that you know? It was nice. And teasing you is fun too! I mean, you never take your eyes off me!" She giggles. "What a loser!" I know...

"But I'm a bit too busy to entertain that idea, so goodbye!" Now she finally leaves, after giving me the best, and worst shock of my entire life.

"I deserve death. That's for sure."
