Here are my unfiltered thoughts on the Animal Crossing series! It's... surprisingly negative? I talk a lot about the game design itself and hypothetical changes I'd make to streamline it!

On a related note, today is the final day I'm accepting applications for the new artist position on StiB Animal Crossing! I'll keep you guys updated and you'll be the first to know who the new artist is!

These are always really cool, you forever bring up stuff I never noticed. AC is really one of those games where people seem to only love or hate it so it's cool to hear you're kinda in this state of, you have nostalgia for the original but the latter iterations are so frustrating. none of the stuff you pointed out feels petty in the least. They all sound like valid criticisms. Edit: I know the lack of personality in the villagers has led a lot of people to sort of put their own personalities and headcanons onto them. I'd love to say that why Nintendo is reluctant, but it's unlikely. Also, yes, please no more Isabelle porn.

I kinda just wanna hear your open thoughts on different series (movies, games, shows, etc) since its nice to put on while working and humorous to listen to. I would also love to hear your thoughts on how to make the layton series better since oh boy are those games flawed

As a dude who loves Tellius to death, I'd love to hear your Open Thoughts on Fire Emblem. I know the video has passed, but I'd certainly be interested in what you have to say. Vindicate me Jello.

Regale me of the days when Fire Emblem actually decided to give their continents names and their plots thought.

After hearing this whole thing, I can only recommend Rune Factory 4 (it's better than Stardew Valley). I grew up playing Rune Factory 2 on DS lite, but of course I got stuck in the middle of the arc and didn't know how to advance the story. In real time, I spent 3 years not knowing why my game didn't advance, even as I leveled up. The newer one, Rune Factory 4, lets you do all of the cool things almost immediately (forging, medicines, farming, and cooking), while also having a butt ton of character interactions that are unique. I loved it originally for the artwork, but I grew to love it as a game too. Rune Factory 4 has both multiple spaces, and a storyline, but you can ignore the story as long as you'd like to dungeon explore or completely ignore the dungeons for romance/interactions. I think you should look into it. Keep doing these, because I find them very interesting and take them as suggestions sometimes.
